Found the issue, amusing error.
The Helmet was damaged in multiple steps, with a NPE-test only being before the first one... if any of thefirst few steps destroyed the armor, the following up would create a NPE.

As well, MACs tend to mess up Minecraft stuff often and noone in the ic staff can actually provide much Mac support. If the error persists you will have to figure it out yourself.

Mining Laser shots have a "power level", which diminishes for penetrating blocks or flying through air.
Longer distance / through walls = less damage.

You should probably ask the creator of that mod why his thingy is creating that crash.

1. There's no reply button because, DUH, the thread is locked.
2. If i say "no" and lock a thread, it usually means "no and there's no further discussion in this regard"
3. Ignoring locks and recreating threads leads to a ban.
Didn't you just complain about said "advanced system" lagging up your server? :O
Either way, using mass-ice from snowgolems to cool reactors is kinda cheap imho, thus i would prefer to make cooling less "unlimited-powerful"

Via IRC we agreed on following 2 things:
- Adding a blacklist, determined by config, capable of disabling any items for recyclers.
- Reactor cooling will be reworked, removing water and ice from direct use, but instead adding a block which can take the spot of a Nuclear Chamber, cooling the Reactor by different means. Most likely ones that are limited and thus don't give benefits to spammed golem-snow.
I will try to find places where IC2 is incompatible with extended block ID mods, also because Eloraam is thinking on implementing a block ID extender in Forge itself.

If the mod is implemented into MCForge, the issue will resolve itself.
1. Not going to copy Eloraams stuff.
2. Don't see a point in enforcing redstone for every machine. Whereever it was reasonable, redstone is included. Anywhere else it'S not ned.
1. It's not our job to resolve incompatibilitys between random mods and MCForge (because the chances are good the ID thingy overrides MCForge classes, thus causing IC² to crash since it tries to access the MCForge functions).
2. Without crashlog resistance is futile help is not avaiable.
Dunno why you would want to under-mine your city, but per se i wouldn't know of a way to resolve this issue. Except for not using Bukkit XD
Nukes and nuclear reactors can be toggled in config file. As well you can set the nukes explosive power to 0 in the config file.
Disabling ITNT is not possible.
Why exactly do you ask in a non-bukkit mod forum how to set up a bukkit server?
