I am sorry to have *somewhat* started this argument. This has done nothing except wear out our keyboards, and its not like FC is going to read this anyway. That is all. We should leave this thread alone until FC and Spacetoad work something out. Until then, goodbye.
This.
As well, threadCreator asked me to lock this thread, calling it a "Flame FC Thread" + the fact the Addon is obsolete and incompatible.
As far as i can tell there's a lot of derailing and discussion, but nothing explicitely offensive or flaming.
Please don't derail threads while i'm on vacation, makes me feel this forum needs more moderation. Which means work. Don't want to.
If you got something off-topic to discuss, use PMs or create a new thread. Noone will kill you for either, given you keep being polite to some degree.
Adding a cable to a Generator will not make it output energy, unless there's a receiver connected to the cable at some point.
I HATE if i hit "edit" instead of "reply". Sorry headhunter.
QuoteThe super-ironic thing is all you guys have to go on is the MC Forums where we don't have a presence. Nobody knows that we are friends with Eloraam, or that Ablaka was the first to give us permission, or...
Pronouncing this part.
He DID contact me afterwards and got my approval for the modpack and excused for using it before asking.
Of course, feel free to further debate about this topic in general, given this doesn't end up in flames.
Christmas Time People got better stuff to do then industrializing blockish worlds XD
Have we tested ALL possibilites? Never underestimate the goofy things Notch does...
The point is the chance is just LOW for something to bessed up there causing a crash.
Just because there is a low chance to get hit by a meteor, doesn't mean you're running around telling people "Omg, you will be hit by a meteor", do you?
If you do, excuse me, gotta grab my QuantumHelmet, just to be sure :3
? Don't you need the server version of MCForge?
Not the Server version, but yes, it appears he didnt install MCForge at all.
:3 Guess i was blind as well. Thanks for pointing that one out.
and doing so can corrupt your items and cause crashes.
Nope, don't think so. It can lead to "bugs" most likely... but i don't think you can cause crashes or anything serious.
The issue states there's a rail-block where actually a machine should be.
Possible causes:
You messed up ID values.
You're playing on a unfixed Bukkit server (recently there were issues with TEs being deleted inproperly)
Railcraft is borked

Enchantment for IC² stuff will be disabled either way. Just not implemented yet.
Not possible.
Blame TMI for not being capable to grasp the complexity of IC².
Use 4 IOre, 4 Carbon Plates and a diamond to craft it into Iridium Plating.
I think industrialcraft clashes with one of my other mods
IC² can't "clash" with any other mod (cept for easy-to-resolve ID conflicts), given it's a clean mod upon MCForge.
MCForge can clash with other mods modfiying basefiles. But that's a different story.

Retrieve a clientsided errorlog please.
I have tapped multiple trees on an smp server, but for half and hour they don't seem to regenerate. But when I relog. They are generated? someone please confirm.
Sounds like a sync-issue (resin regenerates, but this blockchange isnt sent to the client, causing it to display as dry forever). I assumed we had it fixed already, will probably have to recheck it.
Can you attempt to test whether it does "regenerate" if you place a block of any kind next to it?.
