Crashlog or we cant do much.
-
This sounds like the issue SpaceToad had earlier.
It's client-sided only, leaving ghost TEs on removed blocks. Or something like that. -
Sound engine is sad when you try to leave the game and will try to annoy you into reloading the world.
Known issue. -
I am using Optifine
As mentioned, Optifine does mess up MCForges TextureHandler.
Try again without Optifine, should fix the issue. -

Please be aware: There's no rule regarding thread necromancy in this forum.
IF there's a valid reason (f.e. a problem popping up again) to post in an old thread, i don't see any point in forbidding that.Though, in this case, posting a solution to someone who asked for help 1 month ago IS kinda useless... though this can be left as archive if anyone later on stumbles across this problem ^^.

you get the point...to shrink down oversized texts. No issue with posting a long txt-file in the forum with that feature ^^.
Yes, the log from only installing IC² and it's prequesites will be the most useful one, given there's nothing else interfering.

I'm trying to illustrate the distinction between a bug and user error.A bug is something that can be reproduced - it should, theoretically, affect all users uniformly. The first thing I did before responding was to examine the texture sheet in the mod, then I logged into the game and successfully created a copper block with the proper appearance.
So that leads me to believe that this alleged "bug" is in fact, caused either by an improper installation of something (most likely Optifine or MCPatcher) and/or related to a custom texture pack. It doesn't happen with default textures and it doesn't even happen when I'm using a custom 64x pack.
So let's not bark up the wrong tree and call this a bug in IC2, is all I'm saying.
Hmmm... but given users use different mod-setups, it's possible to create bugs within IC²s code by outward influences or rather "make them visible" by that.
Take the vanilla TE-duplication for example. It was in the code for months (and probably still is), but unless you used the old IC1 Watermills, you would never notice it, yet the Watermill itself wasn't actually cause of the bug.But je, in this case it's most likely an issue with an extern mod clashing with MCForge and messing with sprite displays, affecting IC² blocks.

Afaik the version 1.337 added customizeable values for all energy sources to the config. Nuclear should be included as well, unless it got forgotten.

I think I found your problem, you delete that on client, but not on server. Try again without deleting that this time.I've had to read the sentence three times before understanding the context. Thus, to make it more clear:
Deleteing META-INF on server causes crashes. Only do it on Non-Mac clients. -
Now, if you are running any other mods. Install them one at a time and test.
This is always the simplest and most useful method in determining an error source. -
Did you install ModLoader as well? Probably, but you didn't explicitely mentioned it in your post.
If you could provide the ModLoader.txt in here, this could eventually help.
Where exactly is the mods-folder you dropped the jar in?

Skipping TileEntity with id net.minecraft.src.buildcraft.transport.TileGenericPipe
I'm not sure whether this is the cause, but it could very well be it. Given i can't find anything else.
Try starting up your server without IC². Then start up the server with IC², but without BC. (ensure to reload your backup everytime)
I assume this issue is exclusively caued by BC. -
And PLEASE put these issues in the proper place - reporting something like this as a "bug"' when it's not, draws effort and attention away from addressing the real, reproducible bugs that might be present.
Disagree'd.
Any issue that's not caused as game-intended feature is a bug.Support Section : Questions regarding usage or functionality of the content (and apparently "Help, install doesnt work", too).
Bug Section: Anything that's not intended content, regardless how it got created.@Issue:
Are you using any sort of OptiFine or any HDPAtcher whatever mod? -
-
Wow, whatthehell.. can you reproduce that one? Doesn't seem like an error actually caused by in-game code.
-
It would seem one is in order...
Plus there are a few misc things I fixed in the GIT that would be nice to get out too...
I'm currently stuck in the SWP once more (date is 23.12, need to get some stuff done untl then), feel free to organize a new version and stuff. You're no childs i need to watch for every minute :3 And i guess i will have enough time (5 minutes) to make a new release thread once you're ready to go.

I'm tired of typing about this.
Then consider to drop the discussion. You made your point, HeadHunter made his point, accept the fact you both have different oppinions, done?
You're free to continue the discussion via PM if you like, because to my knowledge the actual topic was discussed to death in the other thread already. As well, if a thread gets locked you can assume there's a reason for it meant to be locked, creatinge a new thread to circumvent that lock isn't exactly what you're meant to do.
If you got a problem with that, feel free to complain to me via PM.
