Nope, and SpaceToad promised it's not necessary, as the changes 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 were exclusively regarding a MCP compilation issue (name change).

Lumintator:
- explode but dont damage any blocks or entities when powered with hv or higher
- sometimes light up when placing without being powered, light updates will fix this
- (real) hitbox is a full block

Yes, both cables need direct redstone input. Use a basic piece of redstone dust in between RP wire/torch and the cables as "interface".Infinite helmet bug still works.
Achieved like this:
Wear any helmet+q-chest and take fall damage until your helmet should get destroyed
You now got an unlimited stack of helmets. fun!

I seriously like this idea. No clue why i didn't think about THIS way to implement some sort of "upgrade".

According to SpaceToad there aren't any special obstacles, just 3 minor changes in functionality (probably requiring me to rework armors and some items) and the casual bunch of name-changes (caused by MCP changing its library every update).

As much as i appreciate free oppinion, i'm assuming you never created something similar that's either software or a similar artistic value. It fucking hurts to see people copying your stuff. But that's something people who aren't exactly creating this things can't understand, no offense intended here.
As well, i never talked about enforcing a pick between RP and IC. I would exclusively disable those parts of RP i consider copied/stolen. The whole redstone logic and wiring section is legit and extremely useful in my eyes. Everything else is already present in IC BC as well.
Thus you would have to choose between IC+BC+RP's-actual-content or RP with it's copy stuff from IC/BC.
Assuming SpaceToad would join in, not entirely sure about that yet. But let's say he isn't exactly happy about RPs developement either. -
Chainsaws looping sound is intended. Mining Drill was meant to loop as well, but something went quite wrong.
Player stated there's an issue with looping sounds caused by MC itself and needs to wait for a MCForge fix. -

Regardless, we're talking about the code. Tin and copper ingots (not the ore itself) are interchangeable between RP2 and IC2 - once they are macerated or smelted they are literally the same item.
Bronze, however, is not - and when I asked SirSengir about it, he said it is because IC2 does has not added its bronze to the Ore Dictionary.True, Bronze is not yet on the dict list.
Will put that onthe TODO list. -
There's a cause C causing various bugs B1, B2, B3.
If one can find C and fix it, all bugs disappear by themselves.
If one can't find C, he can still fix B1-3 manually. But probably more Bugs will pop up until C is fixed.That's what we're doing, fixing every reported item manually.

IC2 dont need any changes to be "ported" to 1.00.

Don't make FC's mistake and let ego get in the way of making something people want to use.
It's not ego, it's the basic issue of somebody copying other people's work and ignoring they fact everyone previously agreed on not overlapping the mods.My point is while there may be future overlap there will always be features that IC has that can't be found anywhere else that draws people to install it over only having RP. Just because RP brings on some of the basic ground level tech so that it can build on it from there doesn't mean it's ever going to make IC obsolete. Assuming the IC devs continue their trend of ingenuity and innovation as they bring more and more features to IC, then there will always be a need for IC.
The problem is, Eloraam said she strifers for ONE universal tech-mod. Thus she will somewhen come back on Electric machines and other stuff and i'm highly afraid she will just create her own version of IC. Dunno how much it will match with the original, but it will still be a copy. And i seriously hate people copying other people's work, in any direction or regard.
Heck, do you even remember the time when i thought about implementing rubber to IC1? It took me multiple days to find a valid solution. Why? Because i didn't want to create a placeable treetap which could have been considered a copy of Shockah's PlasticCraft. Still refuse to create anything blockish that can be applied to trees to gain resin for that reason, though most people probably don't even now Plasticcraft anymore.

Scrap boxes already drop enough free items, they don't need to also drop bones for those people playing on peaceful. here is a simpler solution, if you have the technology to build a fabricator, build your self quantumsuit armor, get a nano saber, AND MAN UP FOR GOD'S SAKE!
Uhm.. why not use the UUM required for QuantumSuit to produce countless stacks of bones instead? :3

Commonly known bug with many items. I've the unconfirmed theory something yet unnoticed changed from 1.7 to 1.8, but whatever, most of the things you mentioned are fixed already (>manually).

Nope, but rather include a few hooks causing exceptions with those parts of RP i consider copy'd from other authors. Would be the last measure though. -

To mention it, Dev team != wiki team.
If the wiki team says the release will happen within a week, that doesnt mean it actually will happen.As you can spot on the blog however, release is scheduled for < weekend.
