That design is exactly the same as the one in my topic. I do not see a reason to replace it since Ragan was the first to make that design. Unless your design is actualy better i cannot replace the one in the list.

I hope no one is being bothered by me hijacking the thread for my own idea.
Anyway, I was thinking that maybe when creating uranium cells they cell get a their own random stats such as how long they work, how much heat they generate, how much energy they produce per tick etc. Doing it this way we can still have the old reactors not blow up and also making "reactor-keeping" into something more interesting and active.My uranium cell has a growth stat of 30

A fully charged Electric Jetpack can work for about 80 seconds (10 seconds less than the normal Jetpack). Unlike the normal Jetpack, the Electric one remains powerful right until it drains the charge completely. It can be recharged in an MFE Transmitter or an MFS Unit and requires 30,000 EU to fully charge.
Why is this on the wiki when flight time is like 6 mins according to tests in this topic? Needs to be updated i guess xd. I could update it but i need to know the exact flight time then (bit busy with university atm no time for minecraft).

Other than that i beta tested for darkspore none. My coding skills are a bit weak its a bit of html, visualbasic, oh and gamemaker language XD (not sure if that counts but i just put it here lol) do redstone skills count?. I did played games for a very long time, mostly rts until minecraft came. In reallife i study mechanical engineering at the university. Iam quite good with autodesk inventor because of my study but i doubt that to be of any use for IC2 (still if it is helpfull iam glad to help). -
No what i mean make some redstone circuits that put a extra uran cell in it and take it out again after some time and replace it with ice and repeat this xxx times. MAYBE you can get slightly higher output and efficiency like this. I know this is much harder to do but then that reactor will stand out because i seen this type design many many times. Wouldnt be very practicaly i think but it would be cool

No that means that all the SSP-Mods MUST do SMP, also IC² is still on Version 1.2.5, which has no Server/Client-merge.
Does that makes it easier or harder to update mods?

If its similar to Thaumcraft, then why not: Put Upgrade into via rightclick on the Machine, and then if you dont need it anymore, put every single Upgrade out via the Wrench before beginning dismantling, like with the Wand of Reversal, but if you dont use the Losslessmode, then the Upgrades are having a chance to break.
Oh sweet i gotta click xx times before i can actualy break my machine...

imo nuclear reactors are the only generators that require maintenance AND can be used for mass energy production. Take that away and everything will be solar spam.

THAT won't pose an issue. Even vanilla furnaces can simply store "one value".
IC is already using that one value to supply whole cans of fuel... the number really doesn't care which value you assign to it. There won't be an issue with using one unit of BC-oil to provide X fuel points.Adding the ability to pour multiple cans of fuel in would be possible... But I'm not sure whether it's within the range of what the Generator is intended to do.
How about we put this on the list for a special generator, which is meant to run off fuel, gas (if implemented) and BC oil, using said materials in a higher efficiency then the normal generator (if at all) with a higher EU output, probably about 30 EUt, too compensate for the incapability to burn simple stuff (wood, coal) as well as the fact you're using complex and limited fuel materials.This I like that will finally make making fuel a viable option.

If you are using straight IC2 and wish to avoid building too many solars, then coalfuel (boosted with whatever dusts you can spare) are the next step after burning straight coal. I would imagine you can move past coalfuel once you find and pump a decent sized lava lake.
Problem is you find lava alot earlier than you can get a coalfuel chain up. On top of that using lava is easier and cheaper and gives more energy.
Even if coalfuel and biofuel output get doubled i wouldnt use it. ITS THAT CRAPPY....

The fact is nobody uses biofuel. 9/10 ppl start with normal gens then go geo then they start spamming solars, windgens or watermills or they go nuclear. Biofuel and Coalfuel just cant compete with those and arent even considered when choosing what to do. They are more a fun feature but dont have any functionality except that jetpack.

All redpower machines do is simple stuff like moving items around or moving some frames (through i do see a balance problem with huge frames). There isnt anything yet in redpower that should eat up alot of energy.
