Only if you have BC or RP to shoot the items in the Air.
Edit: forgot Dispensers.
Can dispensers shoot stuff in the air? I dont think you can turn them.

I just see coal as a extra source of diamonds.
Using lead in helmets sounds a bit weird. I mean dont they want the helmets and armor to be lightweight and mobile while still offering protection? Where did you get that from?
I usualy go outside at night and farm the mobs
Display Morehuh?
end game supposed to be powerful. this idea has basically evolved into an extra function of the forcefield when(or some long time after) it gets implemented. you can't make rails to floating bases(with out them looking like crap) i like floating bases
this isn't nasa or the set of startrek so what you call it is meaning less
personally this is where I'm leaning right now
1.you enter some target coordinates into your "moving-drive"(or what every you want to call it)
2.you start your "moving-drive"
3.everything inside the force field your drive is attached to moves into an alternate dimension(referred to from this point as limbo) power is consumed to do this
4.you sit in limbo until either a. you feed the drive enough power to reach your destination (note: solars and wind shouldn't work in limbo) b. the rate of feed drops below a certain threshold and the drive spits you out somewhere between where you started and your destination
5.the drive will always spits you out 16 blocks away from anything you could have collided with including the ground to prevent griefing
Getting too complicated ablaka isnt gonna code that and it doesnt sound really usefull too much hassle for just moving around. Would problably cause epic lag with that new dimension. I keep telling to just make a simple block teleporter. It wont give ablaka mountains of coding to do and you would have to 'build' your own teleporter/warp machine whatever you want.
This is getting way too complicated all it has to to is to instantly move a single block from A to B. Maybe ad in some simple options to control shape and range (like that forcefield mod) and you are done. Iam sure ppl will build their own complex building teleporters and since they 'designed' it themselves instead of using a magical block that does everything it would be way more satisfying. Maybe it can even be added as a option to the current teleporter.
Also much easier to code i guess no need to fuck with chunks etc. Cant see how this would potentialy destroy your world since its so simple.
I guess keeping it simple makes it alot more interesting. Just make a block that teleports the block its facing (and maybe some options for range and shape?). If you make 'legobricks' like this ppl will create teleporting machines themselves and they will be alot more epic than some magical block that does it all for you. On top of that it would be usefull for both small teleporting (aka teleporting stuff to your house) and large teleporting (like whole buildings) without it being op (since it scales with the size and complexity).
Well block teleporters sound nice I mean you could do some nice stuff with that (like auto teleporting miner stuff to your house).
Ohhhh. In order to double the uranium, you would have to double the total cooling?
For that design yes since it has exactly 0 heat with a single setup.
Laggy, they are bad enough as solid blocks. With moving bits and such they would become lag monsters of horrible proportion.
It would be cool thou to stand there watching hundreds of solar panels rotate as they follow the sun. Especially in time lapses. Except it would look weird when you have a hill and they are all staring through it.
Thats where dynamic shadows come in!! XD
I'm aware that a full set works, and so does equipping nano armor as filler pieces. I was simply under the impression that the body armor alone was supposed to protect from damage - as that's what the wiki says. If this isn't a bug, and is working as intended, what exactly sets the Quantum body armor apart from nano, other than extra energy storage?
I get immunity to damage if I'm wearing full nano as well. All of the other pieces of Quantum armor have special effects attached. If the body piece alone isn't supposed to protect from all damage, why is the body armor so ridiculously expensive just to update energy storage? It's the most expensive piece.
Because its the body piece XD
1-3 Block ids, meta values for the rest of them.
Also mister "Certified Balancer", adding pollution is a legit way to properly balance something like Nuclear reactors that can output energy out of their arses. But of course this is minecraft so fuck the
PoliceBalance /Joking?
Ye great idea i mean we all agree generators, geo generators and nuclear reactors are overpowered right? NOT.....
What a joy killer, you must be on the same bandwagon of "I dont want any negative consecuency for running this potentially Nuclear reactor filled with 20+ Uranium Cells, Thats totally green energy right there", or something along those lines >.> /half sarcasm
No like ppl need even more motivation not to use anything else than solar or wind....
XD Well damn! There goes that. Thanks for working with me on that.
I haven't actually worked out the math on these, but it seems rather incongruous that that design can be run indefinitely without generating any heat, but it can't be done twice without massive repercussions. I don't want to take a bunch of your time if you haven't done the math or it'd be a lengthy explanation, but do you know why that is?
Thanks!
Its because each nuclear reactor has some base cooling from the water outside. Reactor components dont affect this (except adding more chambers).
Like this mk3? XD

Argument crushed
It cant get any cheaper than my reactor without getting low eff and output
Sorry if it's already in the thread, but it wasn't in the first post.
Found a cheaper version of the efficiency 2 Mk I-O than yours, Rick. Dunno why it works, but it does...

Ehm...its not cheaper...
I only use solars for stuff that needs small amounts of eu (like the basic machines). Windgens or manned watermills are way better for mass energy production.
Downside:
Uses 21,73 stacks of ice. To make ice you need eu thus this reduces your total efficiency. Not to mention the amount of babysitting required (unless you go CASUC with other mods).
