I'll take that as random update offsets per cell and 'half a fuel cycle's updates (rounded up)' when in 9K+ mode... which means you can't quite finish off two complete enrichment cycles even with perfect swapping.

Try inserting a /stack/ of items. Scrap is only generated a small fraction of the time.

Might this happen /right/ after someone logs off/is disconnected if there's a race condition?

For the moment, don't enchant anything IC2. However I would /guess/ that the brass armor would likely be one of the few items that is enchantable when most things are properly blocked from enchantments. Further, I'd guess that it would be somewhere around the un-craftable chain mail or possible diamond armor in respect to enchanting.

It's more like $0.00 + $0.000000001i per click.

Also, try re-downloading everything; as Player noted elsewhere a few times, some things have had silent (no obvious notification) updates.

That is true; however using ice does not lessen the world; where as using disposable materials does.

Are these numbers unique to a reactor or unique to individual cells?

While I agree with your logical distinctions, I feel that you're conflating them incorrectly with the terms CASUC and CARUC. Said terms do not in any way reference the cost of cooling operations in energy, but are instead focused on the loss of material for cooling (non-renewable (CASUC) versus renewable (CARUC) versus no loss at all (unlabeled/normal)).
I am not sure what terminology makes sense; just as you /can/ build an RP2 reactor out of 'free' level reusable cooling, so too can redstone engines be used (or so I've read on the forums) for a BC based solution.
Reactor Powered - CASUC/CARUC seems like what you want to call things; RP-CASUC for synthesizing all consumed resources out of UUM/grow ops powered by the reactor, and RP-CARUC for the same but using self-renewing resources (that is, ice or water-buckets).

Yeah on 1.0.0 + RP2; I was already making a farm for pigs and cows so I figured sheep too (since they drop ~3 wool on average). I hadn't actually bothered to try farming sheep before since the /last/ time I cared about this animals spawned like mad at night in my nicely lit landscapes. I guess it's a 1.0.0 bug that the dev-buidls fix.
Thanks for letting me know that they do not normally regrow wool.

Oh, I tried a switch /next/ to it and that didn't work. At the time I was trying to make it work I had ZERO spare redstone so I figured it was broken.

1.44, maybe I should hold off another day for pushing my update... floppy-disk edition sounds like a nice time to drop buildcraft (since I'm sick of downloading 10 files for an addon I more or less don't use anymore)

I'm hoping this is some silly little thing I'm not doing, or a 1.0.0 bug... but I have a bunch of sheep in a pen, which has grass, but they aren't regrowing wool. I've glanced at the normal wiki, but it said something about a week 49 version; which I think came out after the 1.0.0 release.
So let me make this crystal clear: ISSUE: Sheep aren't regrowing wool; what's wrong, since it's not that thing that happened after 1.0.0 came out?

It actually offers you a /little/ more protection than stone. Which is practically nil in comparison to what a reactor deals. Obsidian is best used as decoration and maybe portals to the nether.

True CASUC uses components that are /destroyed/ by the reactor. This would be akin to constantly replacing cooling cells and just tossing the heated ones in to a lava pit; or even just running them until they burst (fed by hull plating) and slapping in new ones as they pop.
What we see now are what I call CARUC (Reusable/Recyclable/etc); in this form the only component that is lost is from an infinite spring of water; buckets containing water and/or ice it's self are sent in to evaporate. The bucket form is done using other mods, and often without any external power; so thusly it is provided without any cost in eUs.
-
There's no point in running a normal CARUC/CASUC hot, so replacing the top row of two + gap with 3 uranium to finish re-enrichment works; plus doing that reduces the heat produced enough to make it reliable on bucket cooling alone.
Also, that lowers the output from EV (2048) to HV (<= 512).

As far as I'm aware, peaceful mobs don't spawn now period. They're laid down at the same time trees/etc are on the chunk and that's it. The big reason I wanted 1.0.0 was so I could get new converts in to it without requiring a backdated version (and compatibility with other updated mods); and the second reason was animal breeding (so I can actually kill the excess but keep a population).

Have you verified that normal minecraft works?
