Sorry, i didn't update this thread anymore. That freakin changes every week, i'll probably wait for stable release before drawing new textures. If you still wanna use this textures - use it as is. Of course feel free to use my textures on your server or edit textures, if you want to.
P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

Classic IC2 Texture pack. All textures changed to 16x16. Textures 100% handmade.
Also changed original "Iron Furnace" texture.Currently build #397 is the latest build for 1.6.4
I will make 1.7 version when all basic industrial mods will be released under 1.7Here are some of textures changed:
Install instructions:
1. In resourcepacks folder:
Download "IC2_Classic.zip" from attachments and copy to "%appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks".
Select IC2_Classic.zip in "Options..." -> "Resource Packs".
2. Or included in .jar:
Download "industrialcraft-2_2.0.397-experimental.jar" and put it into your "%appdata%\.minecraft\mods" folder.P.S. For those who love new design of machines, I made separate pack with only tools textures.
Full textures (first pair):
IC2_Classic.zip
industrialcraft-2_2.0.397-experimental.jar
Tools only (second pair):
IC2_Classic_Tools.zip
industrialcraft-2_2.0.397-experimental.jar -
Erm, they did, the old advanced machine block textures. I might try making one for them, but I can't see them looking as realistic as the other ones.
Realistic??? You mean realistic like u Bottling Plant texture, empty block with Water Cell in front? I think u cant make more realistic for new machines.
P.S. Better delete that "Realistic" texture pack... -
Okay, you got me. I give up. Coz railcraft need total rewrite to work with 401-lf. I cant imagine my server without railcraft.

Why? I daresay it is more stable than IC2 classic.1. New ugly textures (in my opinion)
2. New energy packet system too far from original ic2e
3. I got 2 crashes on my private server from ic2e -
Otherwise, you can just use IC2E.
Better avoid experimental branch.

I solve that problem without HEX editor, just using fixed .class files from experimental build.
Also i fix Forestry to work properly with changed IC2 mod. Download if you get this error: "Halting runtime for security reasons. Please replace your mods with untampered versions from the official download sites."
P.S. No recompile, fixed with HEX editor. 6 bytes changed.
P.S.S. Ask me here if u need newer Forestry versions. -
i got tired of just wait and press F5 on the jenkins page to see if player fixes the bug with the armor textures and the gui (background) of the iron furnace. So i just took a hexa editor (i just can't download mcp and jdk at 5kbps..) and edited those two files: GuiIronFurnace.class and ItemArmorIC2.class to change the paths and fix the bugs and i just want to share this with the community until the bug is offitially fixed.
Ah, and i copied the /assets/ic2/textures/armor/* to /assets/ic2/or/* And copied the furnace gui background (found on the minecraft.jar) to /assets/ic2/ffurnace.png.
i attached to this post the two classes edited and the jar file with that just done.
PS: Remember to delete the META-INF folder!
Edit: well, i can't upload .class and .jar files, so i compressed the three files into a zip one.
