Sounds alot better than carrying 10 stacks of stone pipes around, doesn't it?

nice, did you use the sprites for the output for the regulator? and do you want any new sprites, I'd be happy to help.
-
how did you know it hit a mob spawner if it immedietly crashed?
-
personally I would like 10 and 2. Maybe a config file for people who want it other ways?
-
will the update allow it to attach directly to a med-volatage transformer? And my two cents, I don't think you should have nerfed the daytime eu, it takes DIAMONDS for petes sake, I'm almost out of em, with the combination of the panels and the wire. maybe 10 eus a day? but not 8. not worth my diamonds.
Love the gui in the OT btw. Want to try it out. -
I've got a cacti farm in my current ic2 world. It gets me around 100 per minute, which gets sucked up by obsidian pipes and is sent to a chest right outside my door. I have it set up so i can send them to generators to run my house. Course 100 solar panels help as well.

I was actually about to report the same bug, the miner sucks up energy even when it's not doing anything.

"I already planned on adding at least a simple redstone cutoff switch into my power regulator mod, so I'm gonna put a power meter in it too. Gonna change the name to PowerSystems, and if anyone else has any ideas for more power control/monitoring systems, feel free to post them (note: I am planning on also including selective disablement in the config, so you could enable power meters alone, that way server admins have a choice. Still only 1 block ID so far, gonna try to cram as many as I can into that ID.)[/"
Sounds great! Love your add-on by the way! Its very useful.

all the generators are sending a single pcket each, which means you could have copper wire there. What you need is a highvoltage transformer and THEN test it, as it sends out a single pulse of 2048, not 2048 packets of 1 (or like 400 packets of 5, depending on the generator.

I'm going to be making a server once smp comes out, and I would love to have something like this, considering I'm the designated power grid manager (self-apointed of course :P)
-
If you could do that, that would be great. Would allow me to play when I dont have internet and have peace of mind that something blowing up isnt going to destroy everything I own.
-
Ah! I just realised I was playing in offline mode. I'll check right now.
Edit: Yep it works, it didn't occur to me that playing in offline mode would do that. Is there any way to allow single player to always open pcs? -
Sirbrandino here. I just recently made 2 personal chests to replace the regular chests in case of a massive explosion while I was down mining. I filled each one up with various resources. They were not next to each other. they worked fine, I logged out and back in, still worked fine. But the next day I went to use them AND THEY WONT OPEN. Or be wrenched. So now I'm trying to figure out what to do considering all my stuff is located inside those chests.
I'm running IC2 1.0, buildcraft 2.1.1, eloraams redstone, timberrr, and recipe book. Thanks again guys.

I have, but I use the same chest when i move and just shove all the cobble from previous mining operations back in. course being 7o height helps.

Here are my remakes for the regulator. 2 prong is primary and 5 prong is secondary ouput.

Wow, this is pretty epic. When IC2 first came out, I thought, "I can't wait for the converter to come out! I've done so much." But my new world I made for IC2 is even better. But I'll probably use the converter for those worlds just so I can relive them. Thanks again!

Just a suggestion: If you are able to, I think they should double as a voltage transformer, so a lv regulator would be like a low voltage transformer. Obviously you would include a transformer in the recipe. Just a thought. And I'm almost done with the sprites, but some things came up so I haven't been able to finish them. I changed the output dots so its different. If you want the whole block changed as well, let me know.
-
looks good, question: Do i have to do a clean install for addons? Ive never installed one. I might try spriting some of these for you, If I find some free time. Any idea what you want them to look like?
Edit: Is it possible to make the output and the input block one block? Instead of 2?

the electric jetpack has a hieght limit of aroun 80, so make sure you aren't too high. I haven't had any problem with them.

yes, definitly want this.
