Thanks for the positive replies guys
heres hoping one of the IC team sees this and thinks its a good idea!

Well, keep in mind that IC has a pump machine that will pump lava and put it into cells -- I know it was bugged in 1.0 though, does it work in 1.15?
-
How long are your copper cables? Theres energy loss on copper cables after 4 blocks. 1EU/T is lost after 5 blocks.

Nice magus!! I never used Water/Wind generators.
EDIT: Also -- Tier 2 energy video is up (Posted in Tutorials)

Thanks :). T2 is on its way as well. Covers MFE's and LV Transformers.
-
My first video, Rubber Trees, has been posted :).
I put it in the Tutorials Section.
Second video - Tier 1 energy - is on its way!

Awesome :). Not sure how hard it'd be, honestly. It may be really hard -- i have no clue :). Leave that up to the addon developers and/or Al.

A better request would be of the makers of buildcraft -- have them set it up so you can pump lava into an auto-crafting table, and mix it with buckets to make lava buckets.
Then -- combine the lava bucket with empty cells (again in an auto crafting table if you wish) to get lava cells, which can then be pumped into a geo-gen.
Wouldn't involve IC modification at all.

Awesome ideas player
some of them I had planned on (Miners), others I hadn't :). Good call !!
-
Nice Magus :). I'll check it out tonight when I'm home.

Maybe
but if the hologram switched between solid/nonsolid with a redstone signal, you could have a button or lever somewhere to allow you to temporarily pass through.

Yea, but BC already has this for the most part, and theres a very small set of users who don't use BC and IC2 together.
I'd rather the IC team work on making new things that don't already exist, rather than spend precious dev time on something that BC already gives us.

I suggested something similiar a while back, but you should right-click a teleport pad to 'Sync' it:

I dont' know much about java code either, but I doubt thats easy to do, and i also doubt that they wanna spend time implementing it.
Worst case just spawn the materials for the items you want, and build them. /give glass, /give coal dust, /give generator
Put them all in the crafting table - shift-click (if you have convenient inventory installed) -- sure it takes 5 seconds longer, but not a big deal :). You can spawn yourself all the items in stacks, and make 1 stack (64) of solar arrays in about 10 seconds, instead of 1 second :).

Nice KB -- This was gonna be one of my first tutorial videos, glad I don't have to do it now!
-
This is an intended function -- I just use mining lasers for stone/redstone/coal -- stuff I don't mind losing a little of. Use a mining drill on important stuff, diamonds/uranium/etc :).

I'm planning to do some 'Tutorial Videos' on this mod. Simple stuff that we see asked ALL THE TIME -- like how to wire stuff, and how certain tools/machines work. How to get started. Why do my machines explode when connected to an MFE? Stuff like that. For newbies :).
#1 -- I've already got some ideas on videos I want to make, but I'd like to hear from you - the IC2 community - on what you want to see. And don't say 'Nuclear Reactors' -- thats pretty hard to cover in 1 video, but I'll probably do at least an episode or 2 on them.
#2 -- Once posted, I'd like some of you who know this mod better than me to review my work, and tell me if I mess up.
#3 -- I'm going to start making these for v1.15 - Minecraft 1.8.1 -- If any major mechanics change, I'll remove my old video and post a new one.
#4 -- It'll probably all be done in a 'Test world' using TMI :). No legit play this time, just me saying "Heres how you convert from Medium Voltage to Low Voltage, and how more than 32EU/S can run through a copper wire (as long as its all LV).
Let me know what you guys think :). I'll post the first video or 2 in the next few days.
