Heheheh, that file is ModLoader's fault. Try looking for a file that says, "RocketScience.cfg" not "zmod_RocketScience.cfg"
how does the control block know what blocks are part of the machine or not?
I'm going to assume that the TBM acts as a block built entity similar to the reactor. So, to hazard a guess is that the Control Block looks for specific blocks and adds them to the entity itself, again like the reactor and it's chambers.

By the looks of this snapshot, Jens and the other Mojang employee still have to work out the kinks in it (like the whole game thinking that items are still above 256).

Well keep in mind that you have to be on or near the chunk to place the block, those blocks helped me to avoid a few enet errors in the past.
But, yeah, I would think they work nicely in SSP, but I'll double check.
EDIT: Checked the post by Zeldo (original author of AP), the ChunkLoader Blocks keep the chunks loaded in SSP until you exit. SMP will keep the chunk loaded if the server attempts to unload it.

I know that a tool like mIDas might give you a hand. If not, just do some hunting on the MCF Tools section.
Keep in mind that those pages probably haven't been updated to relevant information since IC1, composite armor I think took a bit of a nerf, and Nano armor was replaced with the Quantum set in terms of special abilities (I miss having to inject that class to use the Nano stuff), but I think Nano is just a little less protective than Quantum.

So? It's surprisingly easy to create a furnace and to link it to a boiler/dynamo to generate electricity... sure, it's slightly impractical in some ways, but it's still doable in the sense of creating localized electricity in your own home...
And people often did something to this effect when there were blackouts, especially in the winter. Furnace to keep warm, the boiler/dynamo to keep electricity flowing.
A bit confused. I might be a newbie coder but from what I see this is hardly using the new API and I thought the whole delay was so it would use the new api and break less on updates? That and this hardly works lol
Porting from a version that was based heavily on the core of IC2 (hence Zip having to decompile IC2's jar everytime), to a version that is based on the API is taxing enough. So of course there will be some bugs, and please do keep in mind that this IS a beta.
