I allways wanted to make a modpack with hardcore darkness and without forever working light sources. So torches burning down, no light from Lava+Glowstone and only powered light besides that.

You need to add the "proposed" multiblock Centrifuges and multiblock Electrolyzers. This will GREATLY aid in reducing the abhorrent # of machines needed to actually process the Deutrieum and Tritium for the reactions.
Greg talked about it ages ago, but it never happened.
Search NEI for "Processing Array".

What happens is: When a mod generates structures going over chunk borders and the next chunk does not exist yet, that chunk will also get generated. Should the next chunk also contain a structure that goes over chunk borders, another chunk gets generated. With enough mods generating over chunk borders, they can start to loop and generate gigantic areas because of it.

Before I install the new update (13), I see you added a config that replaces all IC2 cables with Gregtech cables.
Is this enabled or disabled by default?
I have a lot of IC2 cables in my world right now, and if I install this update, will they automatically change to Gregtech ones or do you have to enable that feature in the config and THEN the cables all change from IC2 to Gregtech ones?
I don't want my cables to become gregtech ones.
It is default disabled. Also it only replaces them in all recipes and hides them in NEI. Cables allready in world will stay.

Disabling Steel loot to prevent skipping Bronze Blast Furnace is also worth considering.
Chunk loaders that disable themself after a week of no login are the right way. Admin anchors or automated fueld Anchors both keep running for MIA players.
Should there be small things that require adding a whole mod just for one thing, i might add them to GTExtras if you ask and they are easy.
100+ is probably arbitrary. I assume it means more mods than the other servers, which is understandable. I'd be happy with having a large pack full of hardmode features.

And that's where it gets weird because using GT and Glen's Gases together work just fine, but when I then use RWG too it produces those results. And of course, if I use RWG and Glen's Gases together there is no issue and same with GT and RWG.
So it must be something specifically with these 3 mods.
The more worldgen mods, the more chances for problems. It is also depending on the world seed since the worldgen is random. GT, RWG and Glens Gases together likely do not go into loops all the time. Trying a few times might generate a world that works first, but allways has a chance to loop while generating more of the world. GT and Glens Gases alone allready have a small chance of looping, RWG only rises the chance a lot.

So I seem to be having a strange issue with version 5.08.13 and two other mods.
When I use GT 5.08.13 (And of course IC2) Realistic World Gen and Glen's Gases (With it's Core mod) it produces this strange effect: http://i.imgur.com/7CF0fJM.png
From my completely uneducated view on how Minecraft works behind the scenes, it seems the TPS is literally 0. No sounds are played when placing blocks and entities are just frozen. The game is just at a stand still but I can still move around.
It only seems to happen when I use these 3 mods together (5 including IC2 and Glen's core mod) that it produces these results, but any other combination of these mods I use then the issue goes away.
I'd just like to clarify I'm not implying that the problem is with GT or IC2, but I thought I would post here and see if anybody had any ideas what could be causing this and if it can be fixed, or if these 3 mods used together are just incompatible.
Thanks.
From what i know it is likely a worldgen loop caused by the combination of Glen's Gases and GregTechs huge oreveins. I do not know a easy way to fix it. In GT6, Greg did something about that a few weeks ago, but i do not know exactly what, only that it was a lot of work.

Allright, time for version 5.08.13!
Changes:
-Added Turbines (Only the Items, the multiblocks are not complete jet)
-Added config to disable all ic2 cables and replace them with GT cables. Other mods using IC2 cables must be Minetweaked.
-Fixed Quantum Chest null-pointer bug
-Added 180 Achievements.Could someone do a spellcheck on the .lang for the Achievements? Or maybe think about better names in some cases?
The "Find Ore" achievements are automaticly generated and change depending on the activated ores inside the config.
The Ore Discripticon does not change automaticly, but by enabling the Debug1 setting the correct ones will be written into the GregTech.log and must only be copied into the en_US.lang file. Infos about ores spawning inside other mod dimensions must be added manually. -

GT5 Unofficial is quite stable. I do not know of world crashing bugs and only some high end stuff i added is slightly misbehaving.
Should you plan to update regualry, changing over to it now should be fine. A fully stable version should be reached in a few weeks. I personaly want to see it on Kirara.About the options, the third sounds the best, but to me it seems allmost a bit too much work. Maybe limit that idea a bit, so you do not overwork yourself.
Option one, keeping a single server running for really looong also sounds good.So a midway? Slowly reducing GT5 servers to 1 once GT6 is good. K4 updating but no big mod changes. Then somewhere in the future 1-2 new GT6 Server that only start once there is a Endgame.

How about splitting off K4. K1-3 still run, but i do not expect there to happen so much that a new thread is needed.

Small issue... I cannot seem to get the Basic Bending Machine to work.
Trying to use a single Steel Ingot, plus the circuit, and the machine doesn't activate. I have a Centrifuge on the same setup, both being fed off a Steam Turbine. The Centrifuge works, just not the bending machine.
Currently running Forge 1384, IC2 2.2.720, and the unofficial GT 5.08.12.
Works fine for me. Is the circuit in configuation 1?
Edit: Oh, my guess was right.

I have problem with one pulverizer recipe:
Is this GT or TE issue? How do i fix that?
(GT 5.08.12, CoFHCore 3.0.2, ThermalExpansion 4.0.1)
I can't really blame any mod for this problem. Can only be fixed by minetweaker. There are even 3 Mods involved. In my testing enviroment EnderIO is the 3rd.
EnderIO adds a recipe Sand to it's own silicon and that is fine on it's own.
To be compatible with other mods Silicon, EnderIOs Silicon and GTs Silicon Plates are registered as itemSilicon. There are more Mods that are also adding other ways to get "itemSilicon".
Automatic coping some of the SAG Mill recipes into the TE Pulverizer combined with GTs Unification results into the recipe you see there. -
Can you do a GTExtras version for your GT 05.08.12 version? Plz
Sry if this question already answered.
I will likely add some features directly to the GT5 Unofficial version in a few weeks.
