Since the addon is growing, change its name to "MakTech" or something and make a smaller logo if you wish.
I think that "LevelStorage v0.9beta - Wireless Conductors & Power Synchronizers (cross-dimensional), Advanced Scanners, XP Generators & Chargers & even Portable Teleporters (cross-dimensional too!)" is just too big =)

What about my helmet idea? It has entity radar scanners to detect players, mobs and items.
Maybe even ores (in a tiny range), for much increased energy cost per tick.

Tesla helmet ,shoots tesla rays on enemies around for 20 damage. Overclocker upgrades increases speed of fire and Transformer increases damage (and energy usage).

I think a few better additions for the nuclear system would also be good (requiring water, perhaps even a small steam turbine?)

Make the "Multiblock" thingy, really multiblock.
Requiring the fuel rods, steam turbines, cooling systems and all other complicated thingies it needs to actually produce power.
The player could find an instruction manual to use it on dungeon chests.
I'm going to suggest a mass fabrication rework. Currently it is way too simple and could be improved to actually "produce" finished resources. More details to come on suggestion thread, where my janitor rank belongs.

Teh armors look nice, but you should consider adding smaller versions of the armors.
A "pocket" item. Which gives pretty much the same effect, but reduced and with a smaller energy consumption.

For the Chestplate, make it a ForceField Generator, which prevents things from getting too close, like in a 3 block radius?
Since it is a ForceField, players could attack it in certain points (those are marked with a red part), damaging the field, causing the chestplate to get its energy drained.
Bonus effect : Health Boost III permanently. [Increased health]

For the Helmet, when 1.6.2 comes, add more info to the HUD we are going to have, like when you point to a machine or a cable, it shows all possible info about it.
Entity detector radar (or entity xray), highlighting them with different colors. This includes mobs, players and items.
Red for players, yellow for mobs and blue for items.
Bonus effect : Haste II permanently. [Makes the player mine stuff more "efficiently"]

Bonus effect for leggings : Speed II permanently.
Bonus effect for boots : Jump Boost I permanently.

My blind guess would be that generators would work better in the end.

    It should work bad actually.

There is no actual atmosphere (oxygen to burn stuff).
There is no wind (no pressure differences due lack of heat sources and atmosphere)
    There is no sun
There is no thermal heat sources (aka a planet or a star)
There are heavy elements in great quantities due the "end" of the stars. [Tungsten, Iridium and Platinum]

Thats the "end" of the universe. Where energy, for use, couldn't be produced anymore.

hm the community don´t need a Bugfree Version for 1.6.2...a faster/stabel E-Net (player hard work on rebuilding)...??

GregTech is a great funny Mod but not all IC2 user want to use them....of various reason

players and my goal is to keep IC2 alive ...to receive as a platform for modder ..we have a great modding community who use it for their ideas

Ideas for content is something the community doesn't lack. About the versions being buggy or stable is another story.
If you (and player) are willing to keep IC² alive, take your time. Just don't be like RedPower.

What do you think: should I make it a armor (Boots) or just another Device that goes into the hotbar?

Device that is inside your backpack. People's armor and hotbar are already clogged with items.
It makes artificial gravitational fields which are strong enough to deny minecraftia (earth) one. That will cause the player to levitate. Now to control movement, the player may require a tiny propulser which is also in the backpack. The tiny propulser alone will reduce fall damage, allow higher jump and allow player to walk over 1 block heights.
The gravitational field thingy would be an end game item, while the propulser is an early-mid game item.

    A polishment :
Allow the windmills to use GregTech turbine blades, for respective efficiency it shows, with duration = durability of rotor * 10 seconds

    Configs :

    UseIC2Energyformula : true/false
#Use the IC² formula (wind strength, weather, etc) or not for energy generation

    RequireRotors : true/false
#Requirement of rotors to make a windmill generate energy. If set to false, rotors are purely aesthetical.

    RequireMaintenance : true/false
#Will cause rotors to take damage over time, requiring player maintenance. If RequireRotors is false, this is ignored.

    "Insertrecipethinghere" : true/false
    # "change between possible recipe sets"

The mod has been developed to something very nice so far, those rotors 3D rendering looks awesome.
Good Job for the nice mod.

perhaps lower stones BR so that Expensive (at least early game) and would mean that picks are only for ores >:3

Maybe make dynamites more accessible and encourage their use early?

    gunpowder + string + sticky resin + paper = 32 sticky dynamites ?
    sulfur + coal + string + sticky resin + paper = 16 sticky dynamites

Glyceryl (nitroglycerin) + string + 7 dynamite = Nitroglycerin bomb, will destroy all weak blocks in a sphere of 17x17x17. Ores has a 10% chance of being broken.

For the sake of implosion compressor, please, let us pump liquid glyceryl (nitroglycerin) into it as a ITNT replacement.

ooh, shiny. sounds like a nifty way of plugging one of the problems with modular power suits: lava protection. (a full q-suit gives you nice fire protection but wow is it expensive)

What's the energy cost going to be like? Cost per fire tick prevented or something like that?

What about instead of energy, it being instantly refilled with coolant cells or heat dissipated in a reactor (sounds silly, but it would be free and take a LONG time).
If GregTech is installed it could be cooled in the Vacuum Freezer.

Okay, i'll add that. You will be required to have a Enchanted Book of Silk Touch (or Fortune) to get the enhancement.

Add that, if it detects GregTech, it changes the recipe to require 2 RockCutters (a silktouch tool) + 2 energy flow circuits.

Also, I'm thinking of a crazy overcomplicated system of duplicating items. It will require exactly as much UU as it would if you craft it normally, but it will a bit more clever.

Maybe add something similar to EqEx EMC, however that "EMC" value is UUM dependant. Lets call it Matter Unit.

Lets say, that 16 wood has 1 MU (1 UUM). Values are based on actual UUM recipes.

If you are duplicating 64 planks, it would require 1 MU, multiplied by 1,005.
It would first detect the value of the MU of all basic components, then multiply the total value by 1,005 for every crafting step required, 1,01 for every processing required (macerator, extractor, any other kind of machine), 1,05 for centrifuge/electrolyzer recipes (GregTech). If it can't UUM certain components, it will request them. [For example if you need certus quartz (dust) for AE stuff]

Those multipliers stacks, so if something requires, for example, 10 craftings and 20 processings, it would cost :

    All raw components MU values * 1,005^10 * 1,05^20 = 1,22019... (1,22) MU of all raw components.

That would make complicated items considerably expensive to duplicate.

Glad to see someone (maybe) used my tower setups.

I'm NOT a coder or anything, so :

    Hypothesis 1 :
Well, the problem is (in my opinion), as i've tested windmills on 1.5.2, that they are a bit buggy.
My tests showed generation values up to 3 EU/t at max, no matter which height.
The generation value were LOWER at higher heights (being 0 or close to it), if compared to windmills at lower heights.
I did post that bug on bugtracker, but nobody took a look over it.

    Hypothesis 1,5 :
I'm also sure that massive amounts of tileentities (which nearly all mod blocks are) causes server (and sometimes client) lag.
This, together with Hypothesis 1 (buggy code) may be the cause.

You can try updating to 1.6.2 and see what happens.
If you need so much energy, you can try GregTech, it offer several energy generation methods, including fusion reactors, however be prepared to config it, to satisfy your gaming needs, as it DOES nerf TONS of stuff.

You can use Compact Windmills to reduce the lag. [Turn useIC2stuff off you don't want them to require rotors]

Watch the project die... Thunderdark has ideas for content fortunately, so he will keep stuff alive content wise.

This is definetely something the community doesn't lack. I just redirected nearly ALL my ideas to GregTech due it being actually active, and happily, many of them have been implemented there.

IC^n won't die anytime soon, while GregTech is alive. Thats my opinion.

I thought about it and implemented it but due to me being dummyCtrl-Z with eclipse I made it so that it consumes only 200 eu when mines a vein. Will be fixed next version though.
Silk-touch? Hm.. It will consume enormous amounts of energy (maybe even 1000 per block broken)

1k is good (but still not at the level of "GregTech", although you shouldn't increase it as your target audience is not only GregTech users).
Although, configs are always good to configure values.

I'm currently developing a thing that you will love sooooooooooooooooo much...
It's an upgraded diamond drill that will dig a whole vein when you dig just one block of it. It's so much fun, I'm amazed how lovely it is... No more mining a whole coal vein with a iron pick! 0.5 seconds and 24 coal is in your inventory!
It works on all the ores (vanilla & modded) given they are registered in OreDictionary as oreXXXX.

    Timber/treecapitator, for ores! :D

GregTech is open to everyone, you just need to have the will to learn to play with it. If you do, then you truly are the target audience of GregTech.
NEI is pretty much essential to play with any mod, GT is not an exception. Idk what problem NEI had but it seems that downgrading a version fixes it.

Wiki is being slooooowly updated (the community one here) . At least changelogs are constantly updated, so you won't miss any changes.

GregTech or any of its components may not be integrated on IC² unless they want to make IC³, with GregoriusT being on IC³ team.

You can burn creosote oil in a boiler and use that steam on turbines (either RC or GT).

You can edit your post to fix the "semifluid generator" part.
