It's possible to do crafting recipes with links to the crafting ingredients right? (Kind of like the IC2 wiki)
E.g. for the recipe of HV wire you can click on the Refined Iron to go to the Refined Iron page

I can write information for stuff, but without any pictures or other fancy stuff, which i would like if someone else added them.
For example :
Translocator.
Moves items from inventories adjacent to the green side to inventories adjacent to the red side.
Accepts up to 32 EU packets.

A normal ic2 Windmill creates 5 - 10 EU/t with max. efficiency. In useIC2Stuff I want it to be as similar as possible, so the ULV recipe wouldn't make any sense. That's why it skips the ULV stage.
Making a windmill reach 5 EU/t production requires good winds.
10 Eu/t requires either max wind or high wind with thunderstorm, which are uncommon/rare.Windmills average generation, with SAFE setup (No breaking due overproduction, which happens after 5 EU/t) is 1.66 EU/t.

Ofc you can place them at maximum height, but you will suffer with constant windmill breakage which is definetely not worth. -
Gregtech isn't a normal mod, its goal is apparently to add as much realism and mind boggling complexity to ic2 as possible. Some crave the challenge, others want to maim Greg for his views and how he applies them to the mod. A good idea is to avoid doing anything to further incite any more tension between gregtech fanboys and gregtech haters, the resulting flame war is always brutal.
I didnt say anything about gregtech, and i was refering to Si element (which quartz and glass have, with the first having a better elemental structure allowing better light usage), not GT silicon plates.

The old times with MedievalCraft... i miss it.Builder/Assasin roles were fun.

Ok, thank you. It's good to know that IC2 is still being worked on. I won't update my pack to 1.5.1 until an 'official' release appears. Thanks for letting me know.
Don't expect an official release anytime soon, those unofficial packs are stable enough. [Except for API changes]
For example the server i'm playing runs IC² for 1.5.2 (unofficial release on jenkins). -

Also, more user-community janitors (like me) are needed.
Currently i'm only able to keep the suggestion section clean.
I really wouldn't mind if i had janitor power over other sections, actually it would be nice as i read nearly everything here. -
Just make a random flat age and wander flying around for all pages you will ever need.
MFR auto-spawner + safari net with creeper/witch + grinder = tons of gunpowder. (redstone,glowstone,sticks and glass bottles with witch)

Because solars are blackish blue and coal dust is black.
Following that theory solars would use lapis, alongside coal.
Who needs silicon in a solar panel? this is minecraft!

IC² is kinda "stuck" due its main developer (alblaka) being busy with whatever he is doing (like writing his books).
RichardG and Player can implement some new things and keep updating it to new MC versions, but nothing major nor official. -
I've looked on photovoltaic cells and they can be made of :
Sheets of different metals with a SiO2 layer below,
Thin films of SiO2
Thin layers of CdTe
Organic molecules (kinda unefficient, but cheap, can be mass produced)Coal dust is pointless =P
It should be replaced by copper (plates) as it is one of possible metals used alongside a layer of SiO2 -
So... Nether quartz + macerator -> quartz dust + compressor -> quartz plate ? (substitutes glass)
I just wonder why solar needs coal dust. -
No, the problem is that anyone can create a new thread in the official addons forum (look on page 2)
Thats why "compact windmill" addon is there.
I've never seen it on pending addons first, but thats not something i will be bothered as it is a good addon. -
Suggestion : Arcane Capacitor.
It stores magical energy to charge player's items.
Item that must be in the inventory/hotbar.Has three modes :
Vis absorb mode, uses local aura vis to charge items. Stores up to 2000 vis. Vis absorb rate is twice as fast as a wand of thaumaturge.
Mana absorb mode, uses player's mana to charge items, only if player's mana is higher than 70%. Stores up to 100000 mana. Drain rate is 10 mana/t
Item absorb mode, uses player's inventory magical items to charge items. Storage is up to item used. Valid items are the ones that magic energy converter can use.Item charge rate is 128 EU/t for all modes.
1 vis = 12800 EU
1 mana = 12 EURecipe :
