Pretty sure the light thing was added by Gregtech, may be Vanilla IC2 though.
Just confirming that light helmet is added by GregTech, they DO generate light source blocks on you, allowing some visibility

It's not built-in, so much as you can now "pipe" items into the charging slot via automation, so that you don't have to have it hooked up to a cabled power source where it sits.Got a silly idea for built-in power source pads, which uses lava power.
When placed, it will detect lava 2 blocks below it and in an area of 15x15. [maximum 225 lava sources]
Every lava source in that area will generate 0.1 EU/t.
In the nether that value is doubled.
In the end that value is halved. -
Sorry to say, but this have been denied before for balance reasons.
Thats why now we have addons which adds them like gravisuit and IC² combo armors (the second one is exactly what you are looking for).

Honestly the only thing I would add would be the seven Chaos Emeralds, but definetly not craftable at all. These Crystals are a bit unlikely to be implemented.
It would be a nice addition to generate power with your Magic Absorber.

Basically i start a new job on monday working way way way loads of hours and i have a baby on the way in the next few weeks. so it is becoming WAY too busy for me to have any time left for this project... i was hoping i would get a final version for 1.4.7 before i released it for someone to update it in the future however it just isn't going to be. Does anyone want to take on this project who i can release all the source to?

Yeah, we really need a tube-like, that wouldn't be expensive as hell, and wouldn't consume tons of EU ...
My Electromagnetic tube suggestion, without the * "distance of farthest tube" on the formula.
A 100 tube network would cost 10 EU/t (100 * 0,1) to keep active, while it can transport "infinite" amounts of items in it. -
But you can still generate exp with macerator and furnace right?

My windmills setups output an average of 1,66 EU/t. About 2,77x more. (solar average is 0,6 EU/t)
By the way to start setting windmills efficiently, you require at least a stack of them and about 4 stacks of glass fiber cables alongside a MV transformer and MFSU/Mass fab.
Not to mention you need to place obstructions, which is hard (even more if you use the compact setup i've designed).
Also you have to take in consideration the risk of falling (although i doubt someone will try using windmills without a jetpack). -

There is no DL as this is not an addon anymore.

Oh, you got Minecraft 2.0 too? You need a better Screen to enable 4D rendering, or it looks a bit gray.
And for Item filtering you can always use Sorters.
I don't think sorters can filter 100+ items i store... [You know my CubCraft base, i want an electric substitute for those RP2 tubes]

I just want to have my Barrel/DigitalChest/QuantumChest Item storage filtering be based on GregTech, instead of Redpower or buildcrash.
Item/Energy/Liquid teleportation with GregTech? Sounds cool, but i'm worried about how much EU it will cost.

Electromagnetic Tubes :
It has both RP2 Magtubes speed and normal tube "smart behavior", must be connected to the Electromagnetic Field Generator.
The main block counts ALL connected tubes in any range (like LESU) and it uses X EU/t to keep the tubes working. It has a buffer of 1Million EU.
X = Number of tubes * 0.1 * Distance of farthest tube.
If the Field generator runs out of energy while items are travelling, all items in tubes will go to their destination, but no more items can be inserted inside the tube network. [Or the items freeze]If this gets implemented, my base will be finally RP2 free !
Also this does not remove the utility of electric buffers as they do not conduct energy. -

Liquid tanks once it has some liquid, it will only accept it. No other liquid can get into it.

Simply reason, reactors does not get cooled by external water anymore neither Ice and water buckets.
