People are reluctant to use it because it has a "beta" label, they should know it's only a beta because it depends on non-recommended Forge.
Surely it is a beta, but i can't see any reason not to use beta tests since we can backup our worlds and use NEI / MCEDIT to fix anything that gets screwed.

When the "throwable thingy" hits a block it could spawn "invisible light blocks" [like Gregtech Qhelmet fix] in a radius of 5 blocks from where it hit so it could illuminate a big area.
TBH with a tech mod everything there is really really simple. If you never done villager trading then you really should try it because I had just traded paper / books just a few min ago and did it in bulk to the point I had about 7 stacks of the gems..
Enderpearls can go both way. TBH its not hard to do it in a few ways.
1) The End setting up some crazy mechanic.
2) The End Using MFFS if your cheap....
3) Loot 3 Diamond Sword and many hours of grinding...
4) You also have bee that can produce pearls through forestry...
5) UU MAtter.. I mean TBH if your producing something this powerful and big you can really easily produce UU Matter for some of the mats I mean this is not a machine that is lets rush to get it but rather OMFG its been a couple months and I have nothing... OH WAIT I have something to do!

5 : UUM, go to my wind facility and you will have a constant high energy generation. You can use Thermal Expansion (and a bunch of other mods) to get easy scrap.
Have you tried the moistener from Forestry? It only decays wheat and also requires seeds, but you get mycelium.
I've already used it, but it does not satisfy me as it only decays wheat and need seeds. I want something that process any organic stuff into energy. And i have the problem into converting biofuel into EU. (i know forestry has biomass/biofuel generators but it is extremely inefficient)
Chemistry : basically a machine that converts [ -C6H10O5- ]n into smaller hydrocarbons (usable by common generators) like CH4 or C2H5OH.
SpwnX: Hightech Biodisgestor? Try AdvGens by Fallenbeast. He has a Woodgasificator, and guess what you get when you centrifuge its Gascells.
Well the only problem is that woodgasificator uses only wood. I would like something that decays any organic stuff into methane (cells) or similar fuel (C2H5OH for example) so i can throw any kind of plant/food i don't need into it for energy. And it would estimulate early\mid-game farms to produce organic stuff to generate energy.
maybe some kind refinery which produces (bio) oil (BC\forestry liquid compatible) cells
dynamic lights in mc are easily possible, but with two major drawbacks:
1: laggy, makes sense considering mc's not to speedy light update system
2: only works in air since the light itself is acutally composed of an invisible block
Thats why as soon as 1.4 is released (and ic² ported to it) , nightvision goggles will be the way.
Very useful plugin for NEI with this mod: NEI_IC2_Burn_1.0.0.zip. Show how many energy you can get from burning item in Generator (can be disabled in NEI options).
99% percent people do use NEI why these addons can't be implemented into IC² core?

Greg recently solved some problems with NEI, so redownload it and delete your config and let it regenerate.

It would use any kind of organic stuff as fuel. Its process would be slow, but very effective if built in large scale.
Not entirely sure how much of a bitch its going to be. Since you say "Throw" you must use a entity to make it move and sink, and you can't make entities to be moving lights. However theres the touch the ground condition... If there is a method to make a entity become a block when it touches another block it may be not so evil to do...
GregTech quantum helmet fix makes it give off light, why that flare can't be something similar?

I believe it is possible, as this mod has compatibility with many other mods. BC wouldn't be an exception.

I think he doesn't. Although he should create one as he is revolutioning IC² with Tier 4+ stuff, it is the great end-game stuff everyone that plays IC² ever wanted.
I have already alerted the coroner and bought a plastic tarp. Here's how this will go down. Kakermix will get word that Gregtech is awesome. Kakermix will try to add it to the ******* pack. It will not work and users of that pack will pound sand until they install it themselves. Users who don't want to spend time on doing it themselves come here and complain, because we all know that its quicker to complain, wait for reply, and then still not get it. Finally, numerous people from IC2 forums will get pissed at person who alerted Kakermix to the existence of this addon. This results in death by various extremely methodical means. I will then wrap corpse in tarp and tell the coroner that it will have to be closed casket funeral.

Lol, you don't need to be that aggressive to tekkit. I think it is a modpack made for fucking lazy persons (those doesn't deserve politeness in my opinion) that doesn't want to use 1% of their brain to install mods by themselves. There are loads of people like that, tekkit is good for them, not for me and many other people that are smart enough to deal with mods themselves. Kakermix is just a smartass person that get revenue from it. Only thing i have against it is its mods which are insanely Overpowered if well kwown.
I have a suggestion greg, A use for lithium.(This is a suggestion, change it in any way you like) You put lithium cell in an electrolizer and create a ionized lithium cell. You decide the recipe for a Lithium ion battery and how much EU it holds.
Li-cells are already used as an alternate recipe for Re-Batteries. Why we would make lithium ion battery if we have Re-batteries, energy crystals and lapotrons?

then,
Get sticky resin from rubber tree holes (those orange things on tree trunk, click just once and it will keep regenerating)
smelt that sticky resin on any furnace for one rubber OR use the dejuicer device of doom (extractor) and get 3 rubber from one sticky resin.
