To bring this up, the idea of enchanting tools with "nanobots" is probably going to be dropped and replaced by a different approach to enchant/upgrade tools/machines.
If we get "enchantments" or upgrades for our tools and stuff its good anyway.

I'm getting a bug in SMP, where the readout moves around between possible locations frequently and randomly.
I am using ingameinfo mod, perhaps that is it?
It is because of the key that changes hud location, "H" by default.
So whenever you write any word with H it changes its location.
You can change its key in-game in controls menu. -
Since Minecraftia world is endless you can't define latitude.

Stuff better than quantumsuit have already been denied...
Also instead of applying those "gadgets" to quantumsuit, a new armor should be added : Gadget Armor, which has upgrade slots for gadgets (like the gadgets you suggested).
It would be a tier 2 armor. -
If you want griefer armor, ask me to implement an armor with invisible skin which explodes like a nuke upon taiking damage.

To power distant miners i would suggest Charging bench Mk3 (IC² Addon) + MVT + LVT + lapotron crystals.
One lapotron is enough to power about two miner runs. -
I would prefer :
4 rotten flesh + extractor = Dehydrated fleshDehydrated flesh + compressor = leather.

+1, it is surely complicated, but ALL elements on periodic table DOES have industrial uses, it would be nice if we could manipulate them with some kind of futuristic "atomical tech" which would require insane amounts of energy (Tier 4?)

And normal generators are already a kind of "steam" generator which burns fuel to generate energy (like thermoelectric powerplants)

ok i got it working, seems a few mods to run hand in hand werent enabled, now everything is ok, since the NEI is a successor of Recipebook how do i use NEI to veiw the recipe of the item? or does this also conflict with CT3 (Crafting table 3)
need somehow to see the recipes ingame
To see recipes you have to open the item list (probably already opened by default at inventory GUI, hotkey "O"), then place your cursor over the item you want to make, press R and it will show its recipe.
Press U with cursor over an item to see all items it can craft. -
Ablaka is working on more pvp stuff for IC2 i think.
EMP would be nice. It should not completely disable quantum suits however it should just remove alot of the damage reduction and reduce the other abilities in effectiveness. Enough to make them killable if properly ambushed.
Industrial Conflict expansion which has no release date and no one know any kind of preview.
EMPs strength could depend on how much EU/t you are feeding the EMP generator. Lets say that 150EU/t would completely nullify any kind of electrical stuff.
We also would be able to coat machines to protect them from EMPs, otherwise they get damaged and stops working (GUI and sprite gets changed). -
Was this inspired by your first THX helicopter flight on ExpHC? Although I do agree that it would need some sort of fuel as THX is practically overpowered due to it needing nothing and being able to fire infinite rockets and bullets, would this helicopter be for just transportation or would it include weapons?
Honestly, yes. But THX helicopters are too slow in my opinion. (and sorry, i accidentally destroyed your helicopter, colliding with a mountain =D. Now i'm having trouble to get there)
It would be a high speed fuel/electric powered helicopter that initially is used only for transportation of players and goods (in its internal storage).
Later after Industrial conflict expansion devs can decide to add weapons to it like guns, EMP generators, Force field disablers (addon), bombs, nuclear weapons... the possibilities are many. -

Basically a controlable flying vehicle used mainly for transportation. [And a high speed alternative to jetpacks]
It could have internal inventory (opened by shift right click) which has size of a double chest.
You must use filled Fuel cans to refill its tank.
Helicopter accepts overclocker upgrades, increasing flying speed and fuel usage.
It gets damaged if collide with terrain or entities (mobs/players) based on speed.
Damage can be repaired with wrench + Carbon plate/Advanced alloy/iridium plate/, depending which base material was used.
Carbon plate helicopters have medium damage resist and very high speed.
Advanced alloy helicopters have high damage resist and medium speed.
Iridium helicopters have very high damage resist and high speed.There could also be an electric version made of Aluminium plates (you get it with uum) that has high speed but very low damage resist.
Its internal storage size is a single chest. Has one slot to place a lapotron crystal which gets drained to power the electric helicopter. -
If paintpack stores red, yellow and blue dyes it could give off paint of any color , depending on painter color

I guess I just needed to give it a bit of time, it filled up my energy loader (i made a really awesome-looking house and a wind tower would eh, not look so nice so i'm using railcraft + portal gun to move the eu to my base) in about 8 minutes, so hah, thanks anyway. But jeez I used a lot of resources on this thing, lol

Well, your wind tower should generate about 106EU/t average.
Considering wind average wind 15.
wind varies from 0 to 30, and it is coded to keep (most of the time) average winds (10 to 20)I congratulate you from making one wind tower legitely following my tutorial.
Now making the following ones will be easy =D
