Nice to see you again too AlCapella
Get your "avast ye" avatar here aswell pyure or I may not notice it is you.
That is if you don't remove the spaces.
You could compress them like this::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter::Matter:
Instead of this:

So we can measure each other screen sizes using that huh?
Mine matches blub's
IHL... fancy textures, much polygons. Is it even resourcepack-eable?
Doesn't seem to be stopping people like the post above me. ^
He is already better than most people since he runs a cauldron server.
Rather than include a download for fastcraft in a modpack, where people likely wont even notice it's addition, I should link these inexperienced users directly to this topic where they can try to figure it out for themselves and directly complain if it doesn't work?
People may not notice its addition until it crashes for "no reason".
Also, I wasn't interested in what SpwnX thought about the subject, I was interested in Player's reasoning.
This just means that everyone has to download it from this thread, I don't want any uncontrolled spreading or less experienced users (->mod packs) in the current state of the mod.
The OP should have the updated list.
There is not much secret unless you want super powerful crops (high gain and growth stats).
If you do, get a swamp biome, a 4 dirt deep farm (including the farmland) , height 128 and sunlight. That will provide your crops the best environment. It is also advised to use cropmatron with water (which is very cheap) for another boost.
Crossbreeding crops is easy as you probably know. Not leaving empty (includes doublesticks) should keep weed away. Unless you have a plant with growth >24 or a venomilla with growth > 8 . Those will act like weeds (the venomilla does that on a certain stage, but still, weed at some point).
That is a new thing I don't recall from earlier then.
Which takes up 50 seconds / seed from what I recall... At this point you better use the water pool solution since the gt way is the most inefficient way speaking of speed. I'll do the math about eu consumption when I'll get back from school, meaning that I'll be able to see the recipes, but I guess that even the IV autoclave will not be enough to produce large numbers of crystal in the same given time than the accelerators method, and of course will use a huge amount of power. The growth chamber stays the best solution.
Energy wise its bad, but its for convenience. You don't have to deal with seed entities, water and whatever wonky thing of AE2.
Afaik you can use GT autoclave to grow crystals.
I personally like how the crysis suit worked out. Shield and health regen, however the health regen is obviously waaay slower than the shield one.
Another example is borderlands. Shields with varying regeneration alongside optional (as in rare, most shields did not have it) health regen.
Edit: Add in power and material costs so the functionality starts to fail once they start lacking and here we have a nice suit/shield function.
Another note is that the shields did not regenerate while sustaining damage.
Cropmatron: 9x9, uses fluid water (pump it with whatever method like pipes or fluid ejector from a pump).
Crop Harvester: 11x11, add a cropnalyzer so it only harvests when "mature" (see stickyreed and some other plants that can be early harvested). It is not requried for most cases.
You don't need to give the cropnalyzer a battery or something, the energy comes from the harvester.
Both are able to take care of crops only on a level above or below, at most (if it can, i'm unsure if it can only do its own level).
Batteries are not required for them.
That is really like the IC2 fluid reactor (on Ic2 experimental), heh. Coolant going here and there, producing heat on exchangers and then boiling steam to run turbines to generate kinetic energy for electricity.
