The spambots in the cellar were finally defeated. The reinforcements were delayed by a dimensional rift, so Wraith and I ran away, until we randomly found a switch that turned all lights off. I pulled it and then destroyed it, so that it could not be turned on again. Wraith's implants allowed him to echolocate, and i could sense where things were in a good radius. We started to harass the spambots, killing off the weaker of them. We stayeed away from the HACKbots and the MK. IV spambots, as they had infrared and x-ray sensors. The lower MK'd spambots coldn't even find us, so i used them to train my very unpowerful/unpredictable psionics. We walked through a hallway with no spambots, when I felt a spambot through the wall.
Wasmic: ++There's a group of spambots on the other side of this wall. What do we do?++
Wraith: ++Destroy them?++
Wasmic: ++Plain and simple. Let's blast the wall in on them.++
Wraith used his psi-implant to blast in the wall on the spambots, and i withered those that were still alive. Then, 40 HACKbot/MK. IV spambot hybrids blasted through the roof above us, firing an intense barrage on us. We dive rolled into a side hallway. Just as the bots were about to turn the corner, 500 soldiers warped in from the Phoenix and blasted them away with plasma cannons.

Back in Minecraftia, Thepowdertoy contacted me.

Thepowdertoy: "You need to get a warp out of the Minecraftia system NOW! A huge amount of gamma radiation is headed directly towards you!"
Wasmic: "What? When is it due to hit?"
Thepowdertoy: "There's around 4 hours left."
Wasmic: "I'll try to find a warp point. Will you have a warp ready for me at co-ords [Encrypted with 4096 bit RE-CAPTCHA technology]?"
Thepowdertoy: "Yes, that shouldn't pose a challenge."
Wasmic: "I'll try to get some MFFS/ARS systems running at civilian centers and military bases in the mean time. Over and out."

I left my house and jumped in my fighter. It wasn't very big, only around 8 meters long, but it was very fast and well-armed. It had a very powerful mini-generator aboard that I had found somewhere but never figured out how worked, but it generated nearly 10 % of an Arcturias generator. I took off and flew towards the nearest refugee city. It was very well defended, and most civilians of the continent lived in this city. I landed and proceeded to install an upgrade to the city's force field, making it able to block out all electromagnetic radiation. This, however, had the ill effect of blocking out not only gamma, but also radio-waves and visible light while it was on. I flew towards another city and bombed a spambase on the way, reaching the other city in a few minutes. I had recently upgraded my fighter to also have endertech positron rifles. This city's power storage was not big enough to last the whole gammaburst, so the city's citizens would have to be warped away. I entered slipspace in my fighter and flew away from the solar system. The gamma burst approached. Shields went up in cities all over minecraftia. And then... all the spambots on minecraftia exploded. The cities and planet itself was untouched.

Wasmic: "This is a transmission broadcasted on all frequencies. Happy news! It wasn't a gamma burst after all, but a grammar burst which caused all the spambots to fail! We have to bolster minecraftia's defenses, or the spambots will be back on the planet in a few hours!"

Lol, realistically xray goggles would make you able to see through animals but not, stone, so let's make THE ALLMIGHTY DRAGON LORD MODERATOR ALBLAKA implement this as a way to not notice the creepers that sneak up on you while you mine. That'd annoy those t***** players like crap.

There is no RedPower for 1.4.5 as far as I know, but for 1.4.6 (also works for 1.4.7) you should look at the official blog of Eloraam.

Well, I was on this scout camp last summer, 40000 (Forty thousand(!)) scouts, and in my group, people just lost the game constantly. Ever since then I have lost the game 5 times a day, on average.

I think he ment if the "open to lan" or the dedicated server was best. I always do dedicated, as it allows me to share the server with others over dropbox.

That spamBase was enormous. It ought to have a weekpoint, but it was damned hard to find. It turned out to be the Nutrimatic Drinks Dispenser of the spambots charging stations. It could, as all Nutrimatic Drinks Dispensers, not make tea, only liquids that were almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea.

Wraith and I sneaked into the charging stations. I hovered over to the dispenser and asked for a cup of tea. It started humming, and a second later, it was drawing so much power that the light bulbs went out. I was lucky that I can see well in the dark, and Wraith put on some things that looked like sunglasses, but were, apparently, inverted in function. We destroyed the spambots that were charging, and moved towards the storage. The amount of spambots was enormous. There were the mostly harmless mk I spambots, the deadly mk. IV spambots, and even some of the pseudo-intelligent HACKbots. I picked up a smell of tea, the light went back on, and the spambots came online, a hundred at a time. There were at least 3000 spambots here.

Wraith, telepathically contacting The Phoenix: ++I'm in a bad situation. I need instant exfil for me and Wasmic. Either that or large amounts of reinforcements.++

Phoenix soldier: ++Reinforcements inbound. We have 200 ready now. 200 more will follow in five minutes, around with 20 heavy laser cannons. Just hang on 5 seconds...++

Wasmic, shouting: "Bring it on, spambots!"

Step 1. Standard hand mining untill you have a set up of your choice

If problems persist, make a minium stone. if you are still having trouble with resorces, you either have a really bad world generation, or you are just that bad at minecraft playing with GregTech.

RawCode, I feel like you're really mean sometimes. I'm happy I haven't had any problems that i couldn't solve myself. If had such problems and posted them here, I'm sure you would "help" me.

I hacked the enderrifles with Wraith's sonictron 9001. Don't ask me why, but that thing's a supercomputer. I hacked Wraiths rifle to fire entire grams of positrons, and i hacked my own to bypass the matter/antimatter-conversion-process, so that it would fire precisely one gram of electrons. Wraith sneaked around the base, killing the spambots we saw before they could hit the alarm. We reached the core of the base, where at least 90.01 HACKbots were being constructed. We set up the two rifles so that they pointed at each other, Wraith attached a psi-control device to each rifle, and the we ran away. When we were about half a mile away, we synchronized our thoughts. This was the first time I tried this, and it felt very weird to think in a different way than normally, and to see from two sets of eyes at once. Then we fired both rifles, at the same time. The base was cleansed from the End's surface - but that was when we learned that nearly all of the base was underground, mostly unharmed by the blast. We separated our minds again, and we both started laughing at the hilarity of the situation.

The nano-saber didn't exist in IC1, IIRC. But the first version of IC2 was for beta 1.7.3, so that might be the reason it can not block. And BTW, YOU ACTUALLY USE THE BLOCKING??? Maybe i need to start using it too, but i seem to do quite nice without it.

My chainsaw wil most likely end up as the boensaw, the Übersaw or the Amputator.

Why isn't there an explosive-driven player-launcher in IC2? We could name it the Rocket Jumper.

I might be able to do some sprites, I'm not by far the best, but I've made some sprites that i think went quite well.

I might actually start using Mekanism, at least if a GregTech config option was added, so that you can make the machines require less platinum, as platinum isn't exactly common in gregtech.
