It is faster but more expensive. Copper platings can always be replaced with regular ones. (amount of heating cells will go down as well, obviously)

Cheaper version gives almost the same results as the listed one, but uses one more plating (more heat !) and as a result of that, can handle extra heating cell. (faster !) It also costs considerably less copper, which is somewhat important. (at least to me)

I like using reactor heat vents, because breeder is then very simple to keep hot. Overclocked vents are always failing when used with lava cells, because of how they work.

And i switched to glass fibre cable and got no problems so far 280 EU/t in the cable (HV got ~55 EU/t) man HV sucks.

Designs in this thread are focused to get most EU output using only single cells, which is probably not what you were looking for. If you don't like using copper to craft cells every time and care about efficiency, this is quite good design. It's not perfect, but it has solid efficiency and does not require combined cells. I use more of those and one breeder, and I'm happy with it.

Your cabling is probably worse than you think, or you are using it up. I don't think the power is not generated. Reactor planner is ok, and output ingame is ok as well.

have you chacked resources needed ? 2 regular vents are cheaper than one diamond vent

Stable breeder is one that stays stable no matter what will hapen with its components. When thorium cell burns out in your reactor, components will melt.
I this it would be much better to use this simple design that stays the same all the time.
Then just keep adding plating and heating cells to get faster breeding. This is the point where no more heating cells can be added and breeder will breed 432 cells in one thorium cycle. After that you can think about adding more cooling to support double or quad thorium cells.

Yes, they have to be fully grown to crossbreed. You may also put some weedex on cross-cropsticks, so weed can't grow there.

All three are overcooled, which means they do not need that much cooling to run. And when they do not need something, then they can be cheaper.
