Nuclear energy is still much better .
I fixed typo for you.

"No useless eff 1, low eu/cost"
Your reactor's eu/cost is 0 which makes it useless. Sorry. -
Lol. Max 2/10.
-
Your reactor is not that bad, but as you may have noticed, there is already one that does exactly the same on the list. There is no reason to use your reactor instead of the Cake's one and that makes your post here useless. If you want to discuss your design or ask for improvement, create a new topic.
BTW only small change in your design can make it almost as good as the one on the list. (hint) -
Rick is on vacation. Get him passinglurker ! Get him ! .

I must admit, I only responded with my design without reading, so sort of bad eticate on my part. (There was only 4 or 5 posts, so I did not think that the perfect design had been posted at that point.) However, you don't really have the right to be that smug, yours is only better in the fact that it takes 3 minutes less of resource gathering than mine.
That post wasn't about my design. I was pointing out that you should read a bit before posting anything. As you say, there was only 4 or 5 posts, so it shouldn't be that hard to make sure it isn't already there. Sorry for unintended smugness.

http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…u1fp9y95tt7uoomblsrmtxon4 You can encase it completely, no external blocks required, so this one is also moron-proof. Eff. 2, with 2 spots left. You can fill those two spots as a mirror image of the other side if it bothers you.
I improved your design. Oh wait, I posted it one hour before you. Just to make sure you find it: http://forum.industrial-craft.…ad&postID=66192#post66192
Also passinglurker I don't think you linked what you think you linked. (this one ?) -
Or more effective version: http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…pb4jylw2qldp5nj8kr94cub5s

I can tell you that you most probably do something wrong and you posted into wrong section. Try Reactor - > MFSU -> MVT -> LVT -> macerators/batbox.

Mark 1-O
Efficiency 1.5
120eu/tNice one, took me 5 minutes of hard work to make it better. http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…lg355ydmo8kiem9mcyq4uc0g0

I call this one "Rainbow Breeder", I think it's worth it. http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…5opik84z64am0im2setxpmdkw

Without moving the Uranium, this reactor does not belong here.
Rules:
-No useless eff 1, low eu/cost etc. I want this list to contain high quality reactors that have been properly designed. -
-
Why not use this and constantly try to pump cells into the reactor ? It would produce less heat and thus, need less coolant cells.
-
Mark II-6
Output: 120 EU/t
Effective: 106.9 EU/t
Total EU: 24,000,000
Efficiency: 1.50 out of 1.50
Excess Heating: 6.6
Cooldown: 20 minutes, 24 seconds
Maximum Cycles: 6.77Hope you like it. Highest EU/t in the Mark II section as far as I know. =
Can you see the post above yours ? also this quick one
-
"Too much" is fitting.
-
I put that reactor together within 3 days from when I made a new world, and the reactor never overheats so it never melts down, also, it generates 120EU/t. I did remove the post, I only posted it for feedback on it. Also, it was my first design i made from scratch.
Well, that was feedback. Before posting more designs, it is good to see at least fisrt page of this thread to compare you creations. If you need feedback or help, it is better to create a new topic.

You should really look around a bit before posting any designs. Yours is very inefficient and expensive. Better design can be put together in a minute actually.
