as far as i remember, alblaka was planning a rubber suit that would double as a hazmat suit (No enviromental damage from lava or electric shocks) and the helmet would double as a cheaper qsuit helmet that would allow you to breathe under water (But i think it needed oxigen cells)
No idea if he's working on it or if he simply forgot.

Does any machine that accepts BC liquid pipes right now accept liquids directly from the RP liquid tubes? Cuz I tried a few machines that accept liquid and they wouldn't connect.

Thats the joke, im not even changing the pack and its giving me an error. (Right now im using the default texture pack since the initial crash send me there, and im just pressing done in there without selecting a new one and its giving me the error)

In all honesty. Redpower should have gotten the first spotlight, not BuildCraft (not even IndustrialCraft).
I agree, i enjoyed buildcraft on its prime, and i do love me sum hayoish ic2, but quite honestly redpower its the most powerful and interesting tech mod out there so far. Of course being a powerful tool has its drawbacks, only people who have a pretty creative mind can actually enjoy rp2 to their fullest.
That reminds me, i once got a wierd light from a fully covered CF Foam (Hardened) Building. Both from the inside and outside with no torches or any light sources nearby.
Also the squishy one its supposed to be Opaque so they don't block the Solar panel, the hardened one should block the solar panel.
RP Pumps compatibility may not be possible since Eloraam has not released any kind of API for her features.
But the ability to make IC2 Pumps to suck the lava and place it directly into the Geothermal may solve that.
Just make a 1 block in space tank below the IC2pump and whenever the IC2pump suck a liquid it will be replaced by the RP2pump.

(Btw i get this error trying to "change" a texture pack in the main menu, i say "Change" because i get this error when i press done whenever i changed anything or not. Also im not using any high resolution texture pack, or high resolution texture fix or optifine or mcpatcher.)
I could "Provide" data about how nuclear reactors works and shit, but that doesn't mean they will make the nuclear reactors in the game work exactly like that or something because there is a clear line between rl and minecraft (Although that line lies more in how much skill, time and creativity the devs have).
All in all, data means squat if you are not going to use it for something, and data can be easily found with a 10-20min search with google so meh.

The system its simple enough so lets keep it that way, no reason to overcomplicate stuff when IC2 isn't exactly know for complex stuff (Nuclear reactor maybe the semi exception, although the system its pretty simple and straight foward)
Temporaly most likely, it always happen with new items where they add the sprites 2 or 3 updates after.
I have seen why, automatic farming is a no go in my book. Especially with this system were crops doesn't really need that much care and only give and give and give and give and give and give and give and give and give... Ad infinitum.
So i decided to not make the builder thingy, mostly because im lazy and im not using Buildcraft anymore, if any dev want to change the builder to allow the use of the sprayer and not waste 1k of CF blocks in the construction then fine by me.
Although i may do the colored foam thing somewhere in the future, although i may need the source of the Construction foam class to do it. (And the sprayer and CF Backpack if i want to make them work with the colored CF correctly.)

SVN are most likely not final releases and are prone to bugs and error.
I did not get a blank config file, but strange enough the block section moved over to general, so i had two list of blocks but the mod was only reading the one in general.
