Well direwolf its a beta tester of a lot of mods including IC2 and Redpower. So its no surprise if he has early access to unreleased stuff like frames.

Man you gotta love eloraam, she always comes up with awesome and well coded things. I also love her mostly "No Magic Block" policy.

I saw on Direwolf's Modspotlight for Redpower pr4f that there are Frames, i dont know if that was a joke by Eloraam or by Direwolf but FRAMES!!!

Also now RP has Pumps, that means NO LONGER BC!!! (at least for me)

Now you can discuss HERE, about what are you doing next with RP. :D

Eloraam had said that frames will be in pr5 no sooner or later.

I believe pr4f will contain mostly pumps and the logic rewrite iirc.

Once again UU-Matter have nothing to do with the Biome. The mass fabricator needs to change the biome (Unstabilizing the matter in the area) to be able to make UU-Matter. The biome disassemble the matter in the blocks and the mass fabricator collects the airbone matter to make the blocks out of it (Thats why if the mass fabricator isn't powered, there is no production of UU-Matter blocks).

And like im saying, i don't want reversible effects, if you don't want to deal with that biome then don't use the fabricator and place the Prevention blocks in every chunk you want to protect.

ahem dude i posted this for reasons in more detail and how the comunity could fix this not you so get out and i already messaged djolsion about that

This is not something the "Community" can or should bother with. Its between the finite liquid developer and the Forge maintainer. If he doesn't want to ask the forge hooks or W/E he need to move his mod to Forge or if he just simply don't want to work with forge, then that is his problem.

heres a gripe with this you might as well just put iridium in the ground cause thats usually all that people use uum for and the death biome is going to be a big deal breaker for a lot of people

They should grow a pair then, the biome is there, once again, as a consequence to using the mass fabricator to make more uu-matter. Don't want to make more uu-matter?

Then you will need to find it in the naturally generated pools.

If UU Matter blocks are affected by gravity, and everything else is being destroyed, then how exactly is anyone supposed to get the matter?

By transforming all into uu-matter then sticking an iridium coated Mass Extractor near the bottom. Like normal in minecraft Bedrock is still immune to everything so UU-Matter will not drop into the void.

I'm gonna sue you for stealing my idea, expect my lawyers someday this week. /totallyseriousmaybewhofudgingknowsimusuallymentallyunstable

While you are at it, suggest Upgrade slots to increase range, energy comsumption for faster work, and some other random shenanigans you may imagine.

Somewhat, but you actually have to go and get/mine the stuff after using the bomb. Still requires effort and time.

If you consider the fact that all progress on anything you've built is lost, it's somewhat of a fair trade.

So in this case you'd lose all machines, everything, along with the UU-Matter globs.

But you still keep everything you have with you, so you don't lose EVERY single process you did. You could use toolboxes to store a few things like your tools and w/e you can place in those, and the rest of the space can be occupied by Materials to build your new home, the machines you need, generators, energy storages machines and some energy storage crystals. You even have a plus if you had quantum armor made and equipped with you.

does it convert air or water blocks or will the biome beat the fab to it?

Air will stay untouched (Nothing to destroy there), Water/Lava may either be converted to UU-Matter by the Mass Fabricator or Destroyed by the biome if the Fabricator doesn't reach to it fast enough (More Eu/t = Faster work, but it will still need a fuck ton of it :P)

@Genesis bomb thing: That sound OP, not much different from having nei or creative mode to give you the stuff in a clean new world >.>

    (Why i bother editing sometimes...)

ok i got turned around some where. so the biome destroys all the blocks randomly and spawns new uum randomly at different locations?? will it be raining randomly spawned gravity affected umm blocks? if so who needs a harm zone you'll just get crushed and suffocate in this biome

    Simply put:

Biome = Destruction of everything in the chunk/area that isn't iridium coated or if its not an UU-Matter block. (Ergo all or at least most machines should have an Iridium version and the player MUST wear a full Iridium Armor otherwise they will die in there)

Active Mass Fabricator = Changes the type of the biome to "Unstable Matter Vortex" or something along those lines, and Converts blocks in the chunk to UU-Matter as long as its powered (Requires a lot of energy).

Inactive Mass Fabricator = Does nothing but look pretty. Destruction or removal of either an active or inactive version will trigger a chunk wide explosion that will destroy Every UU-Matter block inside that chunk. Any biome changes stay the same.

@that genesis bomb thing, returning everything to the beginning including you right?

Unless that Genesis Bomb changes the biome type to wasteland or nuclear explotion after match...

That would only cover the conversion, and it would need an initial UU-Matter Block to start the infection/conversion.

Remember that the biome change destroy (Not convert) any block that isn't Iridium coated or that isn't a UU-Matter Block.

I placed that Biome change as a drawback off using the Mass Fabricator to get more UU-Matter, and nothing will be able to revert that change, not even the destruction of the Mass Fabricator.

I dunno what i find more stupid:

    1) People trying to install IC2 for 1.2.4 in 1.2.5
    2) People that use that Unofficial workaround to install ic2 for 1.2.4 in 1.2.5 and asking here for some kind of help or something. Its called unofficial for something.
    3) People that still download ModloaderMp for 1.2.5 when forge dropped support for it on 1.2.5 >.>
