Because, ONCE AGAIN, if you do ANYTHING besides going from Point A to Point B, you dont have a teleporter Anymore, you have something else.

Im not saying teleporters have no warfare use, im saying that teleporters ONLY moves a person/object from point a to point b. That Object may very well be a Nuke into a Nuke resistant bunker, or a bullet or whatever.
If you talk about only desintegrating the target without moving it elsewhere, then thats a totally diferent thing. (Related or not to the teleporter, but its not a teleporter.)
Extremely one-sided decision to break all MLMP mods. I tried asking them to make a MLMP wrapper but they said no "since it would be used forever and noone would transition to NetworkMod that way".
I agree with him. Besides give it a chance, after a week or four you will barely remember what MLMP was.
Under-Exploited? Teleports are pretty straight foward, a machine that moves a person or object from Point A to Point B, anything that doesnt fit that quality its NOT a teleporter.
They will simply merge with the earth i believe so.
Only way for it to be harmful is if you dematerialize every single thing in the world. (And no you cant make energy out of it)
The lightning rod suggestion its ACTUALLY rejected because:
1. Lightning Storms happens once a year.
2. Lightning Strikes have a random nature, they attack random spots at random times.
3. Even if the Lightning rod where to "Attract" the Lightning strikes, its range would not be major than 5 block per side. (Or something along those lines, at best they would cover the entire chunk they are placed in)
Tell me, how many fudging lightning strikes have you seen in your entire minecraft experience? Specially lightning strikes happening nearby.
In the end, Lightning rod its a stupid idea.
for number 3 the receiving pad doesn't need to be powered by mfe or mfsu so do the reassembling atoms power the pad? or is it some sort of trick of extra dimensional geometry or what not where the atoms know a pad when they see one and know how to put themselves back together?

Well, based on a guess, I'd have to agree with the above. In my opinion, it's one of the cheapest options, in terms of materials/energy costs, and the most sensible in not being technically murder or suicide to use one...
You will see the physical manifestation of the portal/worm hole though.

Yeah that is what I have to do I was just hoping there was a solution that didn't involve a restart every few days since I work in the oil industry I tend to be gone for 3 weeks at a time and do enjoy logging on to my server as well as for my friends to log on there isn't anyone to perform maintenance
Configure a bot to do that for you automatically, someone here should have knowledge of how to do it.

Takes too long updating, doesnt update properly, doesnt work perfectly well. I think it was something like that.
You should always try to use tin cables in your Solar Panel-> X machine connection, those are cheap and super efficient.
If you are going the Energy Storage -> Machine route then you need a proper cable for it (Copper+ for batbox,Gold+ for MSU,Iron+ for MFSU)
I would say number 2.
With a portal you can actually see your destination prior to entering.
With the Scan-Kill-Reconstruct you need to have the same materials (Atoms particules etc) that made steve in your destination so it could remake him.

One its supposed to be a challenge, another its supposed to be used exclusively with Creative mode. Your arguments are invalid.
Quite honestly the only diference between the two is that you can farm resin nearby, while you have to walk a little more to find the coal/redstone/clay for the other.
Protip: EVERYTHING in minecraft is renewable, just walk a few chunks away and there you go, more shit thats supposed to be "No renewable".

Also it is well know that alblaka its working on a add on that adds weapon for pvp (Although everyone in minecraft would consider griefing instead).
