Modifying vainilla items are usually frowned upon, unless you have a real god damn reason to do so. They are fine the way there are no need to nerf them, after all this is a industrial mod not a illumination mod.

And yeah moveable light sources are a pain in the butt, use dynamic lights (Made by Atomik Striker in the Minecraft Forums) if you want to carry a torch to light your path.

You can't exactly build a crawlbase with frames...

If you want some real Resource based economy on a server, the first step its to forget about frigging automation. You need to have an eye on the whole thing for it to actually work out.

That idea seems more in line with the possible... Although IC2 dev team hates the nether as much as they hate enchantments, potions, and Whatever stupid magical thing team mojangs add next to the minecraft.
