World of Tanks once in a while.
    - been playing for almost a year, approaching burnout)
Team Fortress 2 once in a while
    - bought it with the rest of the pack when it was new: in terms of entertainment per dollar this is probably the cheapest game i've bought.
    Space Pirates and Zombies
    - really need to finish this one but haven't felt like playing it much lately.

and probably a few others i'm forgetting.

Ahhh. I was just wondering because those things seemed basically indestructible. Ahhh well. Looks like I'mback to burying my reactors at the bottom of the world still lol. At least in the event of a meltdown, the bottom of the reactor isn't gonna budge. If only there was a legitimate way to make a shell out of bedrock. *le sigh* thanks for answering that though :)

They are indestructible, the thing is that IC2's explosion code is specifically set to ignore blocks like that.

takes energy to replensh your hunger.
as to the body armor: it takes a lot to make it notice any drain. Like say, extended battles with the Ender Dragon in The End where he tries to fly right through you. (usually this means death but not with a q-suit chest piece)
Put that armor in a MFSU and you will see some recharge, it just isn't noticeable yet is all.

Was testing a manned water mill setup (wanted to make sure they still worked in manned mode) only to discover that i'm getting no energy to a bat-box or mfe.
given this was test I just spawned a water mill and a stack of cells as I mostly wanted to verify the EU output.

Just downloaded the snapshot, and I have to admit that it's pretty slick. They've definitely optimized some of the code since 1.2.5, I'm getting about a 10 FPS increase compared to 1.2.5 without Optifine.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to 1.3, though not for the wait for my mods (I'll just stick with 1.2.5 till then)

Oh, I can tell that the install procedure for mods will change.

yeah, that's going to be a small nightmare for any mods that don't use the new API. Cue the onrush of idiots that won't install it correctly and make posts like "HALP! Borken!" and nothing else.
I mean look at the Feed the Beast thread, tons of morons there that can't do simple step by step instructions and posting stupid simple bugs over and over and over again that have already been pointed out and solved earlier in the thread.

This mod is such a great way to gain twice the resources other mods are expecting you to have, unbalancing them completely.

    : D

wouldn't exactly say "unbalancing them completely" afterall a simple doubling isn't all that much relatively, just a few extra minutes underground mining. What i'm always having problems with are diamond and rubber.
Besides, it's not like the EE cheat mode energy collectors. The rest of EE i'm sorta fine with but the collectors are just cheating... If you need some serious EMC than head to The End and build a ender pearl farm.

I do want to give this mod a try when it's update to IC 1.95b. Could someone give me an explanation of how this mod works? The OP doesn't seem to fit this for me.

basically it put MFSUs on "frequencies" so you can have 20 million energy on tap anywhere you build one.
any on that same frequency can either accept or have energy drained out of it. Each one also has a configurable output, 512, 128 or 32 EU/t.

That is/was a (reported!) Bug in the Nuclearreactor-Redstonecode of IC² itself, so the Reactor doesnt save the active Redstonesignal applied to the Reactor, if the Chunk unloads, and then it just starts running on Chunkreload (without Coolant-ICE, because the Coolantfabricator is OFF, because Direwolf thought the Reactor will still be OFF) and simply BOOM!!!

Ah, right, forgot about that. I just never turn the cooling system off as I just use a condenser chest and a line of block breakers to make the ice. Keep timer on the filter turned on and it'll always dump ice when needed.

Derp. The IC2 filename is industrialcraft-2-client_1.95.jar. Also hes not saying he put it in the jar.

yes, he is. note how it's phrased, as in " make sure it's placed below ModLoader and Forge" aka: IN THE JAR.

I might be doing this wrong, but i downloaded your mod and installed it in the industrialcraft jar for the latest version, but nothing is showing up?

try reading the OP, you don't install this in any jar. It goes in your mods folder just like IC2.

CASUCs go up so fast there's not much you can do.
still, you'll want to re-design things as it's rather obvious your still using 1.1.
Block breakers and snowmen poop doesn't work in 1.2.5.

Best I could suggest is an item detector keeping the thing on if it sees an item running through. no item in 3 seconds and it shuts off. (i'll assume you have redpower installed as that's the way one harvests snowballs from snowman)
Note even that isn't foolproof as DW20's last "Season" showed. (his CASUC went *bang*)
