Oops, fixed
1.3a fixed it for SMP, thanks.

Maby your getting confused with a build craft, ic2 crossover add on.
Build craft power pipes do look like lasers.
or one of the planned upgrades for the Buildcraft Advanced Power systems addon.
and this is IC2 related how?
sounds like a minecraft or forge issue.
You're fucking awesome, thank you.
EDIT: Tested it, same bug as before in multiplayer.
same here, works great in single player but doesn't work at all in multiplayer,
and this quick update from jeb should remind you.. allways make backups
or keep separate folders for everything. I don't even use the %AppData% default location.
right now i've got 4 installs
Vanilla (almost never used)
SMP mods version (whee... *glares at buildcraft*)
SSP version (again with the buildcraft glare)
and a test version I use for... testing! (gee! imagine that!)
the SMP and SSP installs get shuffled about between the desktop and laptop frequently.
assume no until told otherwise.

Very nice metahore and article, thanks for sharing. I've already purchased a Radeon 6850 (which was DOA when I got the rest of my parts, should get my replacement today) Once I try out this card, I'm probably not going to be upgrading for quite a while.
Probably best it's a ATI card. There's still lots of pissed off users on the Nvidia forums because they haven't fixed a long standing crash bug. (as in black screen and a recovery message bubble in the taskbar)
Just ask me how I know of this issue..... For a long while I was stuck on the 280.26 drivers until I did a complete wipe reinstall and toggled an option in Seamonkey.
I must state my doubts on that video. Whilst i think it's possible to sync up the TeslaCoils with the Song, i seriously doubt it's possible to make them create such a wide range of sounds.
Rather assume them to run a techno-fied version of the song in the background, with TeslaCoils merely displaying a visual translation of the song into current (which actually could even be some sort of amplified speaker output).
It's actually very possible to do such. There's lots of different videos all over youtube and there was one group (Arc Attack) that made it on "America's Got Talent"
There's still limitations to what sounds the tesla coils can make though. The Ghostbusters theme song that's out there is a bit off for one.
There were some problems with that version of forge, I'd try version 59. (not sure if there is a newer one since then, but 59 works well)
they're up to 1.4.1.60 as of "yesterday" (American central time) at least, also works well, at least for me.
Normally, I could add an item to the pipe slot and the miner would refill the hole with that item. Currently, I can't put a stack any of the slots. While it is nice that I can't accidently put the drill in the detector slot, the ability to backfill is important.
except it's "backfill" never really did though. it only did the central shaft, never any of the side shafts.
Always had to jump down with an electric backpack and light the area up as I went along to prevent mob spawns.
Hmm, works great so far. Haven't built any legit yet but i've been messing around with them in a test world.
Teleporters won't link to them though but I half expected as much. Remote teleporter stations will just have to have their own "normal" MFSU fed by a wireless one then. (remote tp stations like the numerous places the forestry beehives have to be in now)
The chunkloading block is using a very hacky code which is considered unsafe for most modders. Forge chunk loading makes the chunk never get unloaded(on SMP if you go far away) and also loads it incase it gets unloaded (on SSP World load). I haven't done much of a research but that should be it. Although the chunk loading hook maybe unfinished but just in case.
There's a chunk loading forge hook now? Wonder if that'll make it back to the chunk loading blocks. Cause right now they're sorta odd in SMP. IC2 and RP2 stuff works mostly fine but anything forestry doesn't work right.
How exactly can you use redpower pipes with certain ic2 machines? When I try to use them they just attempt to place the blocks in the wrong slots of the machine, for example, cobblestone into a recyclers output slot (where the scrap goes)? Also what is the best method of powering redpower 2 machines, since I find it annoying to alone make the alloys and stuff but also to wire 2 different power sources (IC2 and redpower2) all the way from the solars at ground-level to my underground house.
location location location. aka: it's sorta just like buildcraft pipes. Recyclers have to be fed from the top. I had a RP2 tube system feeding a set of recyclers just fine in a 1.1 world.
Also like Drizak suggested a thermopile will work for powering low power stuff like sorting machines and the like. I think the correct ratio is 1 lava and 3 water source but i'm not 100% certain there.
there's a search function here.. try using it
aka: already been posted and rejected before.
Wow. first impressions: (haven't tried it yet, i'll wait for the 1.2.3 port)
1: Epic looking mod
2: Holy expensive batman. But given there's zero loss it'll have to be expensive as a balance factor.
Same. Ever do any overclocking? I'm interested, especially considering I have the 2500k.
I'm finally proud to put my computer specs in my sig.
Overclocking can be a lengthy process if you do it by hand. However some motherboards include an automatic overclock feature. Not sure if yours does or not.
This may help though. It boils down to a little at a time doing stability tests along the way.
I forget if you picked up a heatsync or not though but note this: The stock cooler generally can't keep up with overclocking.
I'm just a bit annoyed I couldn't push the i5-760 I have more than I could. "Only" got an extra 800Mhz out of it before it started failing stability tests.
You will find one at Minecraft.netafter you buy minecraft you can click on Download and then on minecraft_server.jar.
Nope, the download on the page is always current, that one's 1.2.3
err.. this is a bug?
Just wait for it to dry (or grab a few stacks of sand and force the issue) then do whatever you want.
Construction Foam isn't supposed to be around for long.
