What about adding a new function to your pump, so it would be a bit more useful ?
I think it'd be fun if pump could turn Oil (for example, but some similar things may work for Lava) into a "Raw Oil" and this one could have a slightly different Distillation recipie in your tower ? Like providing 1 Methane Cell for each Diesel Cell (I know, Gasses are like 10% of Oil, but assuming your Methane Cells are Gaseous Methane Cells and not Liquid, because it would otherwhise produce more EU than Refined Oil ... we can assume 1 Methane Cell for each Diesel Cell would be about 10% in terms of mass, or mols if you prefer ^^)

Why it is unnerfed ? Even with the nerf it was a bit OP to me ... I'm fine with the speed, but couldn't you increase EU-consumption ? It would be less OP, because Advanced Machines already made Vanilla-IC²-Overclocked-Machines useless ...

Yup, but it would need to be centrifuged, and that would be VERY, VERY long since molecular mass of O2 and N2 are about 32 and 28 --> I'd say about half the time to centrifuge uranium.

Ignis is already OP since you can make it out of Netherrack or even ... Cobble ... (Furnace. Assuming you can get rid off the Fractus aspect.)

It's kind of suggested already. But I guess the idea of an item you would just have to hold and to rightclick with would be easily implementable and convenient.

I already suggested that. Don't know why it's not approved, since Zinc should be the cheap metal used everywhere instead of Tin. Tin is IRL used just when its low melting point and the fact its easy to process makes it useful. Zinc is used for everything needing a metal but having to be cheap. So I guess it would be a more logical choice than tin (especially assuming Tin melt easily, so Lava Cells should be as useful as plastic-made Lava Cells ...
Well, maybe Greg just don't want to make Tin completly useless (and BTW, it'd be annoying for Lava centrifuging. Unless Tin is replaced by Zinc in it.)

I don't think Nuclear fuels are IRL cooked just to oxydize those ^^. I think it happens by itself, but I've never studied Uranium/Plutonium reactions.

I meant it'd be fun if we had to check like every 10 minutes, or to keep it open IF you're using extremly dangerous setup, which would also be extremly efficient one. (By dangerous I don't mean "hot". I just mean "with lot of pulses/tick" or something like that).
GT changed the way Th and Pu cells works, so breeding with Plutonium is now much more efficient, while Thorium has been nerfed. Because Thorium now pulses once every 5 tick while Pu does it twice a tick. (And Pulses are worth 5 EU or one Ura tick for breeding.) That pulse system also made reactors a bit more realistic (not that much, but that's still closer), since it's closer of the chain-reaction system of the real life.

First, because of thermodynamics. A heat source of certain level can only heat it's environment to a certain level. Temperature increase is not linear. If you want to make something hotter than it is, you need a greater heat source.

Well, that's not really true, that's just that heat is generally easier to use if the external room is cold, because of some formulas, like efficiency for some engines = (Heat of the hot point - Heat of the cold one)/Heat of the hot one.

But basically, even though I agree both with the fact that Nuclear Reactor have to be buffed and with the fact that it's fun playing with Heat, I quite dislike the "Heat Race" involved by breedings mechanics, especially assuming it's not very realistic (Heat does not increase efficiency of breeding, however, concentration/amounts of radioactive pulsers per units of volume does it, and that's why GT way is cool).

I personnally think that it'd be funnier if Heat, EU/steam and fuel (re)generation was a bit more random, so you'd have to keep watching your reactor. Just because the funnier part is to tinker with the GUI, not to automate it ...

You know, in theory you can electrolyze ANYTHING, there's just tons of things for which it's not interesting. Would I say "hey, add Raw Porkshop electrolyze, because it's made of C, N, O, H and TONS of other stuff ..." basically electrolyzing something is just very often not interesting at all. So I think DNA would be stupid, and kind of useless. (especially assuming we don't wanna help Xtra Bees user since it's already Super OP.

Anyway, back to the Topic, I personnally think that Construction Foam are cool like that, so I wouldn't say it'd be useful having reinforced versions of it. (Even if I would like it as a PvP player). Although, I'd like the Idea of the Dryer/Heat gun, it's kind of a pain to use sand or to wait for CFoam to dry. (well, it's not that long, but still annoying when you're building underground.)
