A cobblegen feeds a recycler, which produces scrap. The scrap can be burned inside a generator to generate 850-870 EU each, which then can power a recycler. You'll generate a bit more than enough power than required for the recycler to run. But this can be quite big and laggy for such a small amount of EU.
Don't do that xD. It's extremly laggy for what it generate ^^. If you don't think they're OP/playing Gregtech (if you're you've tons of other means to get EU), better prefer Greens gens.
Also, I assume you use IC² pump because you haven't BC installed ? If you've BC installed, just use BC Pumps + pipes instead, it's easier to deals with, allow Liquid Transportation and storage. -
I was thinking maybe something like the DM/RM pick ability in that it automines an entire vein.

It would be exploitable as people could just make a dynamite-o-mote be auto-triggered constantly, making people blow themself up every time they try to place a stick of dynamite.
Derp. Do yuo really know people who would do that ? Seriously, I have almost never seens omone using the FreqTrans for mining purposes, and even for something else, so I seriously doubt someone would create such a trap ^^. Or you're playing on very weird servers ...

Fire Extinguisher- when right clicking fire or flowing lava, instead of spraying foam all over the place the sprayer will instead spread foam to all adjacent (or near) fire/flowing lava tiles (but NOT source blocks). 6. Painting Brush- can be used to color a pixel (or four) of a hardened foam, allowing a much more compact pixel art in minecraft as well as making CF building much less harsh and uniform in style and color.
Sounds neat. I always wanted making pixel art with Coal stick or dyes.

Wait, am I misunderstanding or you're also speaking of making an OV-scanner like with values that can be changed for each ore ? I know this is akready in the config but ... that could become really OP: just make: The ore you want the most 100000, the second 1000 ... so you're absolutely sure to find what you want (assuming on a 7*7 zone finding more than 99 Iron ore is impossible ^^) ... But in fact I like the Idea (that I already had, but didn't suggested because that could be done using configs), it just needs to be a bi more expensive and to consume a lot of energy

I have a solar network that is currently producing 1024 eu/t because I'm using the compact solars mod, so this project is less about function and more about blowing things up.
Then do you really need to output EU ?
You could also use GregTech ...You're lucky, I haven't criticized the fact you play with Compact Solars, and not the fact you're spamming Solar Pannels

You may be able to get more than 2400EU/t, because the wiki is very outdated ^^. (You could even get something like 10 000 EU/t). I don't know if that would mean higher than 2048 Packet, but just think: designs that emit more than 2048 EU/t needs a lot of UUM, and it's kind of a waste of ura because this needs will considerably rduce your efficiency. 1000 EU/t is cool enough

I disagree with you. I think TC3 research system is awesome, the only issue it has is the fact once you've complete entirely, next game will be kindof boring ... the first time it's just awesome, because you are amazed by cool features and you're just not rushing special tech you already know ...

I am deeply sorry to say this, but I believe this thread should be closed. Neither is it an actual idea, nor does it have any feel to it. Exploration is one thing, but is it really that interesting to find flat bedrock surfaces? Stop telling the player what to do! If they want to explore, they will!
Lol, the fact is, you just pointed the most useless thing he suggested out: the 2*2 square of bedrock idea, which is quite stupid to me ^^. But, I think a way to generate infinite energy (at a low rate) from sorts of hole in the bedrock, that would regen lava every minutes is fun, or with Volcano from RP2. The point is, that wouldn't be a way to get TONS of EU like green gen are actually, but would give a "strategical" advantahe for Volcano/some points on the layer 2 ...

The whole research idea is great but i would give it a thought about adding researches for some non-existing things only like nano and q-armor, massfabricator and Tech IV things that IC going to give us sooner or later.also research system would require EVERY SINGLE ic addon to be redone, according to new mechanics. thats alot of work.
Guess why the research system based on Chemistry I suggested to Greg was only meant to give you some bonus features when you've performed any research ...

To quote Greg, I would say: "basically, what SpwnX do is 3D solar spamming" ^^. The point is, having green gen is cool, but as a very few part of you whole power generation system. -

Nope. 16 666 666. However, I think the point was to make something more advanced than the QS, meant to be used on PvP servers, using UUM. That would makes the game more competitive at endgame: just imagine Very powerful weapons that instakills QS users, but cost 1 UUM per uses, and an armor that can protect you from this weapon, at the cost of UUM
