I get one with More Composite and Defence, but another one without (and for this one, the crash occures only when we've been connected)

Well, appart of the the cool looking thing, it might be useful if you don't know if there's a big voltage or not. You can save some transformers and batboxes... xD

First: EU-reader is very cheap ^^.
Twice: it would be right if the particle effect was depending on the Voltage, but it would be more probably depending on the EU/t flow, so ... it wouldn't count packet ^^ --> Wouldn't save anything.

To be honest I would use batboxes and copper cabling as I find it isn't exceeding expensive and you can get additional storage without upgrading to MFEs quiet as quickly. I find that a batbox LV system works quite well, until you go into mass production. As it might not have a great voltage, but the requirement for batboxes every 5 blocks gives a good amount of storage, plenty enough for your processing requirements after returning from that long mining trip.

I then try to upgrade straight to an HV system to save resources. If you want to charge tier 2/3 items no need to upgrade your system just add a MFE then a transform it back to LV somewhere in your E-net. And if you want to use your quantum suit it might be time to upgrade to the HV system.

But MFE is cheaper than 5-6 Batbox (thinking it's quicker to craft once you've got the 4 diamond) and it can charge your LAPPACK and MINING LASER, so you should really upgrade it as soon as possible ^^.

Even more: you can get ~80 cells, but you need 10 uranium to fill 80 cells.

But I still do not understand... You mean heat-capacity reactor plating?

Yes, I meanted Heat Capacity Reactor Plating (but didn't remember how it was called, and too lazy to go on the wiki ^^)
And you're also right, I gorfet the simple fact that 1 Ura--> max 8 cells. But Depleted Isotope Cells from Ura-cells endlife increases a bit this ratio (so more than 10 Cells, since it seems 1/3 Ura cells become Depleted once their duration bar is finished)
