as long as source is permanent and can be placed anywhere, it will be usefull, ever 0.125EU\T generator will be usefull, as long as you can spam it as there is no tomorrow (just like everyone does for solars and windmills)

batpacks work inside battery slot (60k EU) this allow you and anyone else to deploy devices on field if you need something right now, very very usefull.

IRL such generators expected to be PERMANENT power source, only difference is production cost (some power cores shoud require UUM, diamonds, iridium or something else) and minor output difference, something like internal storage, peak production or else, but byitself source shoud be permanent.
also device can be formed as reactor minigame, some power sources may require active cooling, providing less power at more heat, or vice verca, require heating to work.

try to read dev notes, ic2e have no compatability with mods compiled against other version of ic2e.
this is obviously API issue, ic2e attempt to init some class of API and failed at place where no exception handling implemented.
what class located at at ic2.core.IC2.<init>(IC2.java:318)

change name of ic2e jar to something like !!!!ic2e.jar
then some mods will refuse to load and you will be forced to recompile or remove them.

its possible for me to code this suggestion as addon just for lulz, but i need someone to make sprite and GUI work (in case of 3d model for electric beacon - also compile model object) , i absolutely lack any skills in photoshop and just cant draw anything viable.

As you may know any mod with outdated API that manage to load before IC2 will break IC2, reason for this is very simple - same classes does not load multiple times in vanilla class loader.
Solution for this simple, API must be separate mod, that load by its own and multiple instances not possible.

metal former shoud be reworked:
name crucible
use clay molds for different metal things like cells, wires, plates and anything else that can be cast, does not require any work inside it, automatically sink metals from its inventory and create items by current mold.it is not suggestion, i will implement my own addon\mod, current metal former is joke.

centrifuge former and washer recipes wont appear in NEI ever if you manage to run ic2 with nei, nuke stats also wont appear, some coding required for this.

I talk about korean MMORPGs that require ages of grinding to reach some goal.
gregtech very close to typical korean mmorpgs, some mods, like thaumcraft typical korea style (as you may know, it force player to perform research by doing something simple and boring 999999 times)

gregs mod wont go mainstream due extreme korea exposure, if something similar happened, i will cut\edit mod myself to undo korea blight.

you can start again with same seed, there is completely no reason to sit on same world for prolonged periods of time.

you can patchout railgay signature checks, i posted fix some time ago, everything located in single class and can be just replaced without side effects.

4 dyes + tin cell == CMYK toner, that can be used to paint any block\sheep\armor\whatever into ANY color, i developing similar mod\addon, currently stuck on UI extension to allow player select color he want without shifting.
