DAMN, why does everyone steal my "Industrial Macerator"-Idea, it was planned to include an Electrolyzer for things like that.

Nope, they can't as they HAVE to be tileentities.
*Thinks a bit about that*
What does a Cable Store? E-net-Data? No. Energy Conducted? No. Connected sides? oh, yes they can be colored. => Yes, it has to be TileEntities just for making it possible to Color and CFing them. In theory, if there would be only 16 diffrent Cables without Color/CF-Support they could be regular stupid Blocks, if they wouldnt need the Interface for Energyconductor.

And where is the (actual) changelog?
In the wiki it stops at version 2.05
spread over the WHOOOOOOOOOLE Thread, but the recent ones are on the recent Pages. Also the new Industrial Electrolyzer has taken over a few Recipes from the Centrifuge (Pyrite, Bauxite and such).

Suggestion:
Extreme Temperature Furnace:
This would basically be a very advanced furnace. It would have as purpose a few things:
1- Processing materials in a new way, allowing you to get new processed materials, for new features.
2- Helping Cooking-automation at the cost of ressources.
3- Incredible speed while cooking (about 3-5 faster than Induction furnace, for bigger EU cost per operation and without efficienty when reaching 100% of heat --> if you aim at minimizing energy consumption, it would still be better than mass overclocking normal furnace, even if it would also be slower).DUUUUDE, dont steal my electric Blast Furnace Idea. (I mentioned it ealier)
Advanced-Thermal Solar Panel
DUUUUDE, dont steal my Multiblock Solar Idea. (I mentioned that also earlier)
The Centrifugation of Pyrite-Dust doesnt seem to work anymore....
DUUUUDE, check the Changelog.
SpwnX: Woot!?! Thats a massive Bug!!!

@Greg: You wrote something about an Industrial Macerator, is this a new machine or was it a typo and you meant the centrifuge?
Pal
Thats just not implemented yet.
Have cinnabar and sphalerite been removed (saw them mentioned here) or just not implemented yet?
They are in the Nether.
hay greg the OV scanner doesn't get charged by the lithium pack.
The OV-Scanner is MV, while the Li-Batpack is LV, so guess its not a bug.
That would depend on if Forge has a hook for the Beacon Block (if they don't already). Personally I wouldn't mind it as an extra little thing (I usually just toy with the beacon pyramids when I get bored).
If there would be a Forgehook then i would use it.

Diamond Drill + Titanium is approved. Of course with a seperate Config (which will make the Rockcutter cost Titanium too)
-
Macerating Gem-Ore with an Industrial Macerator will give you in case of Diamond:
1 Diamond
5 Tiny Piles of Diamond Dust
3 Tiny Piles of Coal DustOr for Ruby:
1 Ruby
5 Tiny Piles of Ruby Dust
1 Tiny Pile of red Garnet DustAdditionally:
For Silver Ore it will give you Lead Dust, and for Lead Ore it will give you Silver Dust. Tin Ore gives you Zinc Dust, for Copper Ore you get Gold Dust, Iron Ore gives Tin Dust. And many more. -

My players and I are having trouble with the lighthelmet. The effect that it creates can't be removed, even by taking off the helmet. I've even tried discharging it until the light goes out, then removing it, and then putting my quantum helmet back on, but nothing seems to work. The area around my character stays lit no matter what. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: It appears that the effect also constantly drains my quantum helmet, just like when the light helmet is running.
EDIT: Resetting the server didn't help. Neither did deleting my player data file. Argh.
Go to the QSuit-Config-Section and disable QHelmetLight...
Was about to post for the same thing...
Once again, a 450+ line config is not really user-friendly, need a real guide for this or to be a lot smaller with quote in it to help us using it.
And disabling by default the "diamonds" is really not mod-friendly. You can't assume wich mods we use, and if we have the well knowned mods, most of us also have some unknowed ones you may break when disabling some items.
Please do not make receipe that are not reversable by default. And now a question : What's the use of "tiny" dust ? this mod is still really complex with millions dust, but if we like to play the "small chemist" do you really need the tiny ones ?
Diamond->Emerald is a bug. I will fix it as soon as I'm home.
Disabling by default the Diamondblocks you mean? They are enabled by Default since i made the Maceration into Dust. If you have an old Config then they are ofcourse still disabled.
Tiny Dust has one special use for things like getting very small amounts of Material, and it will be needed for Macerating Ores, as Byproducts can be produced without having to get 4 Oreblocks. Also i added new Reverse-Macerating Recipes for Tools, Armors and Cells (similar to Alloyfurnace), but with autodisabling all exploits I know.

8 Planks for one Log and 4 Sticks per Plank. Other Mods have byproducts like sawdust.
-
because they have GUI and repairs stuff?
That can the Crafting Table too, and that is just a piece of Wood. And for the Damage Part, the Anvil relys only on its Metadata, so the TileEntity isnt needed at all.
-
Well, while looking for videos i saw pretty complicated setups (for redstone douches) that uses detector rails and such. Whatever if it is easy or not, i wouldn't use it as it is as cheaty as a mod almost everyone knows. EE2/3
Dupeglitch + Enderegg (would even work with Anvils if they werent a Tileentity, and why the fuck are they a TileEntity?) + EE = Ultimate EMC-Source
Docm77 did a good Sandduplicator. JL2579 did a Video with him on how to fix Sandduplicators. German Overengineering FTW.

Any plans or ideas to adapt Lead in reactor components? It would be totally appropriate to at last replace copper with lead in some parts.
The explosionproof Plating is already made of Lead.
V2.07b:
Added reverse-Macerating for many Tools and Items, and autodisabled Tinbucket, Bronzecart, Steelcart and Bronzebucket
Added Steel Dust/Ingot, its recipe is only enabled if Railcraft is NOT installed.
Fixed Sorter outputting Stuff into the opposite side. -
Please before call TECrop.harvest(false) add check for TECrop.canBeHarvested() and !TECrop.canGrow() (as here). For example try harvest Stickreed.
Oh, ok will be fixed. I thought a Rightclick-Spamming player would not have to perform that check. Btw. What is the diffrence between Autoharvest and Playerharvest? Does it just drop less or does it get bad stats?

Quote from RichardG
OCDPerfectionism tells me they should be fixed, and I will.I may also break the silver dust texture in the process, I'm not a spriter.
So whats now? Do you wanna fix it like YOU said?
Silver Dust still has that Texture Problem, and i know how to fix it: Just remove those damn 3 Pixels! This is driving us all crazy.
P.S. Its not directly a Bug, its just an annoying Sprite.
-
That's actually something we should have considered earlier.OH, NO! With Thermal Expansion one could get infinite Wood from compressing Logs! And which Planks would we get from compressing Sticks?
What comes next? Compressing one Dust into one Ore?
-
I think the actuall recipies are really bad.
It would be more realistic to craft 12 bronze ingots from 1 dirt, because dirt could contain carbon and bronze is carbon, a friend said.*Hold up Sarcasm Sign for making Sheldon understand it*
-
V2.07a:
Added Crop Harvestor.
Added Scrapboxinator. It was planned to turn anything into Scrapboxes with it, but due to a minor malfunction it just unpacks Scrapboxes.
Added Diamond Blade as new Component for a few Machines (currently only Crop Harvestor, but you can guess what the Sawmill will need). -
bronze right now is created with 3
and 1
but that is how you make brass.
No thats how you make Bronze, according to many other Mods.
from the research i have done bronze is actually made from 3
and 1 zinc
No thats how you make Brass, according to Eloraam.
but according to a friend its 2
1 iron and 1 chrome.
Whuat? A Friend is never a good source of Scientific Information, unless he's a Scientist.
I also don't think that the current recipe makes sense even by putting in 3
and a
you get by volume 2
and by inventory space 3+1=4 not 2 this is an ascetic change but i think its needed to some degree.
Well, things go lost in the Productionprocess. A crafting Grid is not a good place for making Bronze Dust.
if the first part is done then new ores and textures must be made (i have little abilities with texturing). pls leave your comments info and opinions.
No new Ores for Vanilla-IC².
