    Hello, potential Consumer of GregTech Intergalactical,

    Today we will show you, the newest Invention of our Sonictechnology, the "Sonictron9001"! And no, Dr. Robotnik, this has nothing to do with Sonic the Hedgehog.

    When you hear it, then you know, that something awesome is gonna be played (if its not Dubsteb or the Intruderalarm). Its the Sonictron9001!!! Its better than a normal Noteblock, which just does Piano, Bass or Drum, it can do over 9000 diffrent Sounds. For example it can play the sound of a Laserblaster, an Explosion, a creepy hisssss, or even an Alarm with 24 diffrent earstunning Sounds! You can make awesome Industrial Music with it, or composing your own Evil-Theme! Muahahahaha! There is also an Handheld edition of it to carry your own Music with you! The Sonictron is not usable as weapon, to hurt people with the Sounds it emits, nobody ever died or deafed by our Soundtests, these are just Rumors.

    We are of course, not showing you our Blueprints for that Device, you have to buy it from us, for only 3 Pieces of UUM! not including shippingcosts, we are NOT accepting Credits and due to the Spamwar we dont have a Store to sell it to you!

    So and that's the Suggestion explained for people with the tl;dr-disease
    This is an advanced Noteblock (and an Handheld one would also be Cool) with GUI and new awesome Sounds (Alarm, E-Guitar and other awesome Instruments). All those sounds of course in 24 diffrent Frequencies, like the normal Noteblock (of course it can play the old Sounds too). Also it can play all the Sounds (except the Musicdiscs), which are in the Resources-Folder of Vanilla-Minecraft. It could also be able to compose Music out of these Sounds.

    If you decrease the Soundsourcelimit of IC²'s config, then the Soundblock should also not play, if that Limit is exceeded (Lagprevention).

    I know this will not be implemented soon, but if our Devs are bored enough, they could implement it into IC². And i know, that Shedar already made an Alarmblock, within a good IC²-Addon, so to all the "Make an Addon"-People: Shut up! I just made it for the Presentation!

    well, to kinda "bump" this thread, i got another idea how this could be realised, probably way easier to implement, but a little less userfriendly i guess:
    when using an unused frequency transmitter on a unlinked teleporter, the teleporter gets an unique ID, which is saved in the transmitter, as well as the last known position. when linking the second teleporter, those data get saved in the second teleporter (duh). and each time you use this teleporter, it will first check if the target teleporter is still at the last known coords (saving same cpu power), else it has to search for the teleporter with the matching ID... ID could be saved as meta-data ("damage value") i guess

    Why not adding all the Teleporters to a List (i guess Frames are not destroying the Pointer/Adress of the Block), and then just go by the Listindex, to choose the Teleporter to connect.

    My Idea is much easier to code as you think. Its just a List, which points at all Teleporters (Frames do not destroy those Pointers), and you go by the Index (ID) of the Teleporter and then just make TeleporterList[ i ].x, TeleporterList[ i ].y and TeleporterList[ i ].z to get the actual Coords of the Teleporter completely lagfree.

    Getting off topic here but this isn't exactly a Java problem, it's more of a Windows problem. Kinda how a key can be sorta "stuck" on in software. Happens with me from time to time with the shift and windows keys. Sometimes whacking the key a bunch of times in succession helps, others it takes a yanking of the keyboard or a reboot.

    Its not a Windowsproblem its a Minecraftproblem. If the Game would check every tick, if a Key is still pressed, then we wouldnt have such problems (and that is not causing lag!). So its Mojangs fault to use that updatebased function.

    P.S. this will also happen on Linuxderivates. And Apple uses a Nonstandard-Java, so i dont know about that.

    Listing the worst reactor designs sorted by noobisity intended for ppl, who dont want to make their reactor, but are strongly wondering about the design. They can look here and see all bad designs in 1 topic. All credits go to the noob, who created the reactor design. Dont post your reactor in this topic and if its bad enough i'll add it to this List.

    Rules:
    -No usefull eff 2+, high eu/cost etc. I want this List, to contain low quality reactors that have been designed in a few minutes.
    -Even with mods other than IC2. Reactors that use redpower 2, buildcraft or Equivalent Exchange other mod are recommended.
    -No normal designs (this means MANY ICE AND BUCKETS!!). Having free spots for extraexpensive Heatdispersers is not allowed through, so fill the Reactor up.
    -The more EU it outputs the better, efficiency is not good for any Reactor here.
    -Obsolete reactors will be saved (a reactor will be considered obsolete when another reactor does exactly the same but even worse, like with higher cost)
    -Credits go to the first person that not posts in this topic. I gonna check the whole Nuclear-Engineering-Subsection, if you see someone taking credit for your design then shut up.

    I got the Idea (to cure me from boredness) from This Post

    I would rather have all the batboxes MFSU and MSU to work like this... Alas i believe its not really possible due to the inner workings of the E-Net.

    If Generators can set their Output, and Machines can set their Input, then a AMFSU can set both.

    And i like that Idea of setting Output and Max Storage for MFSU, MFE and Batbox to values inside their boundaries, for example:

    Batbox 8-32 EU/t, 32-40000 EU-Storage
    MFE 33-128 EU/t, 128-600000 EU-Storage
    MFSU 129-512 EU/t, 512-10000000 EU-Storage

    And yes you cant set a Batbox to a value lower than LV (Tincableabuse), also not the MFSU to a value higher than HV (EV-Transformer would be useless), and they cannot output outside their boundaries of LV, MV or HV, because it would make Transformers completly useless.

    Holding Alt while wrench makes it move the output side around randomly (like the RP screwdriver)

    WHAAAAT??? Is that somewhere listed in the Wiki or at least in a Changelog?

    Since MC 1.2.5 i had also Problems with stucking Keys (I think its maybe a Forgebug), when i release a Key at the same time as i release a Mousebutton, what caused my death several times, while fighting against Mobs. (still moving forward + pressing Backwardkey == stand still)
