    Just a Question: HOW does the Mininglaser shoot TORCHES?!?! It's a friggin' LASER and not a Gun! I never said something about the Laser, i said Torchgun, nothing else.

    Yes, it would use EU, like nearby all the other IC²-Tools. It could also be possible for me to add a Dynamitelaunchfunction to it, but that's already denied/industialconflicted.

    While playing around with my Portalgun in a Stronghold, i realized that Portals are glowing, and i can shoot them, so i came to this Idea:

    Why not making a hayoish Gun, that shoots Torches on Walls?

    The uses of it are really simple, but very helpfull:
    - You can shoot your Torches at the upper Layers of a Ravine, to prevent Mobspawning (or raining Mobs from up there).
    - You can enlight Parts of Caves, which are far away from you, before entering them (or to not have to enter them).
    - You could use it to shoot Mobs or Players (only 2 Hearts or less damage).
    - You can enlight Dungeons and Mobspawners much easier from distance.

    This Gun is not supposed to be a Weapon, because it does even less damage than a Bow, and IT WILL NOT INCINERATE MOBS!

    It's an Idea, so discouss about it. :D

    1. I like the Smoke of my Generators inside my House, I want to keep it there, so the natural Environment is not polluting by this.
    2. So basically a Generator, which is more efficient on Coal? Try the Cokeoven of Railcraft and put its Coalcokeoutput into the Generator and viola, you have better Energygeneration.
    3. Whats about the Minechem-Mod?
    4. Explosives (especially nuclear ones) and Energygeneration with that, are already denied
    5. So a Oxygencell into a new Upgradeslot for the Generator, to run it more eficient? Realistic but Generators are already OP.
    6. Or for a cheaper (Only one Plutonium instead of 4 Uranium) Nuclear Warhead. Nuclear is already Powerfull enough.

    indeed so much more is possible when extra mods and addons are thrown in for example you can rig up any generator to out perform wind and solar farms

    fuel generator: cobble gen fueled scrap factory with redpower2 STUPID AND INEFFICIENT!
    geo generator: buildcraft pumps in the nether Y U NO USE REDPOWER?
    nuclear reactor: casucs with redpower2 or build craft BUT ITS ENDGAME.
    watermill: bucket power with redpower2 I HAVE A 40EU/t ONE ON MY LOCAL SERVER AND NO LAG
    thaumic generator: crop farming/harvesting seals work on ic2 crops so how much vis are nether warts worth? DON'T ARGUE WITH NON-SMP-MODS

    So, the large Towercobblegen is good, IF you pull out 64-Stacks of Cobble instead of 32-Stacks.
    That multicobblegenerator on the second Pic is lagging even more, than the Tower of the first.
    The Watergen is the most Spaceefficient Design, and if i would use Unmanned Water then i would build it exactly like that.

    I guess you have used Diamondchests or something like that, because the Chests where disappeared (I dont have it installed).

    The Idea is nice, but unrealistic, because even if Blocks are having a "flat" shape they are out of rough Rock, which is not very good for walking with that on Walls. It would only work with Metal or other less rough Walls, and also only if the whole Body is covered with that Armor. And imagine that you would stick at every Wall you touch, and it would be very hard to get your Body away from these Walls.

    Anyone an Idea to make it sound more realistic?

    For me, that are just wrong. Actually, I don't live at US, which everyone referring the copyright rules to attack Technic. I live at Indonesia, and even my dad cannot use Facebook and some of email. He still using Internet Explorer. Even I need to ask my friend to give me his Minecraft account password because my parents doesn't trust credit card through internet. That makes me cannot have real, legit Minecraft. But I really want to. I don't think most of the parents play Minecraft and know how to edit config files.


    Creditcard? Not needed.
    1. Make Paypalaccount with your Bankaccount.
    2. Manually send 20€ to Paypal (They have a Manual, on how to do it).
    3. Wait 3 or 4 Days (eventually 5 if you make it on Thursday or Friday), until Paypal adds it to your Paypalaccount.
    4. Use Paypal to buy Minecraft (Paypal is supported and used by Mojang).


    Try using 42 mods at once, and you will be feel the need of a modpack. There is however several things that can help you install this mod, which is:
    1. Magic launcher. This makes me don't really need technic anymore, because this makes installing mod easier.
    2.ID resolver. This mod will assign free block ID to mods, making mods easier to install.
    3.NEI. This invedit can dump free block ID, making mods easier to install.

    Magiclauncher and ID-Resolver are causing more Problems, than they solve.
    NEI, dumps every single free BlockID out. I use it to determine the exact boundaries of my BlockID's. A small hint, Redpower and IC² should be left with their original BlockID's, because these are the most importand Mods for SMP.

    I ever use Technic, because I need it.

    I gave technicpack up after they had made me require a Premiumaccount (now i have one but not in the Past), then i decided to install all the really needed Stuff myself and it was much easier, than i thought, after i downloaded WinRAR for free (I love testing, testing is important, even longer than 40 Days).

    First Bug is Sir Sengirs fault, because he made the Engines (and all other Forestryobjects) in another Way (more intelligent, but sometimes hacked), as all the Defaultmachines.

    Redstonetubes are also not sending Signals to Nuclearreactors, which are directly (without Hull between) adjacent to them, some People call it a Bug, but it's a Feature, because it prevents Redstonesignals from Tubes, to spread to other surrounding redstoneaccepting Objects.

    And guess, why i prefer Redpower over BC.
