I propose that only those who run servers can suggest nerfs or buffs that add no new and useful content to the game. smp is the only place any one gives a damn about balance so a normal user should refer all their issues to their server admin and not try and screw the entire ic2 user base over to give themselves an edge on their sever.
How would you check if someone has a Server, if its Local (like mine) or not in the Forumserverlist?

Only 3 Strongholds (maximum), so FINITE Moss/Crackbricks and FINITE Endportals
Only 1 Enderdragon, so FINITE Enderdragoneggs
Only 1 Island in the End (never found a second), so FINITE Endstone
Only an Area, which is quadruple as large as the Earth, so FINITE (but a pretty large amount) everything, what is nonrenewable.

Hmm... maybe you should go to the Nuclear-Engineering-Section with it, but i will just tell you that you can shut off your Nuclearreactor with Redstone.
My Tutorial (In Signature) explains also a Bug with Redstone and Nuclearreactor, but if you just never deactivate your Coolantsystem, then you will not go BOOM.
And for the ppl claiming it will reduce lag on server no it wont because of the following reasons:
-Nubs will make them without realising they need maintenance. End result is tons of solars lagging your server but not making any EU.
-Pro's will find another way and spam that. Most likely that other way produces alot more lag per EU.
You are partially wrong:
Pro's won't even use Solar in masses. We would use Nuclearreactors and Geothermals.
there is no water under it it is on grass and i even used a jetpack to go down the miner shaft to see if it was drawing water but there wasn't anything. i don't really need to harvest water i got BC pump for it, i was trying to get lava cells.
THERE IS NO LIQUID?!?!? What do you try to get? The progressbar of the Pump?, which fills up after every process (and after initializing), which shows you that the Pump is READY and not, that there is something to pump.
Easier explained:
No Liquid => Nothing to Pump => Nothing to fill in the Cell => Progressbar fills up to show you, that the Pump is ready => No Bug
P.S. I have Pumps and Miners working without Problems in IC² 1.95b (also had in the IC² 1.95), and they are all doing their jobs like ever (I even get Lavacells from the Miner and i can fill adjacent Geothermals, without using Cells)

Really, Coalplant surely generates a good amount of energy, but producing 2,4 coal per second would need a BIG autofarm.
And wind power if used efficiently generate much more than solar,water and works all time. [Check my Wind engineering at lag-free tutorial]

main problem are solars, they better then biofuel, just 10 solars obsolete entire biofuel cycle.
for gunpowder - on most servers mobfarms are not allowed, on bukkit grinded mobs drop nothing, gunpowder is SSP option only.

I've tried to research this a bit before, but have come up with no results as to the blast the reactor actually causes. However, a RF-Stone provides 150 blast resistance if that helps.
I know about the Resistence of 150 (from Wiki) but i need the actual Explosionstrength of the Reactor.
