Delete the IC²-Folder in Railcraft, it contains an old IC²-API for 1.2.4, which conflicts with your 1.2.5 IC².
I dont know how i got it running without deleting it, but i think i just installed all in the right order so that the 1.2.5-IC² overwrites the old API's.
all great ideas but we still have the porblem that ic machines dont wonna be moved
Anyone tested batterydriven IC²-Machines?, because thats an E-net issue and Batteries (or Lapotrons if you have Transformerupgrades) should work.
Oh, that could be a problem with Hamachi but i'm very unsure. Please wait for some other Guys, who know more about that issue, i'm sure they come in the next 24 hours. 
ok, fresh server jar, installed the forge. ran it once. but it has not created a mods folder?
Really? Thats odd.
Add a new folder called "mods" inside the Folder containing the Server and try to add IC² to test it.
You need minecraft forge, and you should update your industrialcraft to 1.95b to fix some bugs

Can i simply copy the Clientconfig to the Server without any minor bugs?
Display More1. Get either winrar or 7zip, and install it (you need one of these to open certain files).
2. Go to your minecraft folder, then the bin folder, then make a copy of the minecraft.jar file as a backup.
3. Open the minecraft.jar file, look for the META-INF folder, and delete it.
4. Get Modloader, open it's file, and copy everything inside into your minecraft.jar, and overwrite anything if asked.
5. Get forge, and repeat 4. You can now close minecraft.jar
6. Run minecraft, and check you get to the main screen ok.
7. Look in your minecraft folder, you now have a folder called mods. open that.
8. Get industrialcraft2 from the release thread on this forum, and put the file in your mods folder.
9. Run minecraft, and if you get no errors (you shouldn't) start a creative world and check the list for industrialcraft items. If you see them, everything worked and you can play!

7. Play and join your new Server

It can be done. And threadmills or something like that were already suggested.
Wikiupdate? Good luck, lets see how long it takes. They should make the Instructions for every single IC²-version, because the latest changes in the needed Mods (SDK-MLMP, then Flan-MLMP, then SDK-MLMP again, now Forge) are happening very often.
