First i thought, while reading only the Topic was:

Generating Energy with that method would be pointless in Midgame, but logical and helpfull at the Beginning.

And EE got a Cheatingtable that you even can take with you.
The Compressor is used more than you think, there are many recipes for it (more as for the Extractor), you really want to remove them? NO!
The only thing that is strange are the Carbonfibres which are crafted out of 4 Coaldust and then two of them crafted together giving an Carbonmesh, Y U NO one Recipe, it's only 8 Coaldust!

I like how you use IC2, despite saying that. If you use any Solar Panels, or the Mass Fabricator at all, you're being a hypocrite.
EE is nothing else then build Transmutationtable and WIN, the Energycollector works on normal nonzombieburning Light and creates an infinite amount of everything. EE is too simple, it needs to be more complex and better balanced to be not considered Funbreaking or Cheating.
Solarpanels are only used for powering my Startbase with Energy and even then not often. Massfabricators having a much higher input then output, if you are applying the EMC-Logic to the items. So you cannot make an infinite Loop of Massfabricators feeding themself with Energy and Scrap, what is easyly possible in old and new EE, as far as i watched Direwolf20.

Just a question: How many Ice-Blocks are needed per full runningcycle of your CASUC?
Because then you could produce the Ice from the beginning (after you started a World and got Electricity) with two Compressors and a Pump, and then fill up X Chests with it, until you mined all the needed Uranium. Finally you only paid 5 EU/t (over a longer time) for it and dont need much infrastructure for it. To be precicely only a Filter that pulls Icestacks into your CASUC (Lagfree).
