Euclidean geometry proposes that the shortest distance between two points = a straight line. IC2 physics proposes that mining lazer = awesome.
Mate the two and see why I often dont mine in a straight line. I often mine diagonal down or diagonal sideways, sometimes when shaft mining or at least prepping for it, but especially whenever I am clearing a large area or trying to create a good fast walkway to a pre-defined location. The lazer clips the corners of many more blocks as it travels, and clears areas with less walking. Much cheaper and more controlled then any kind of explosion.
I would cry if they took that ability out.

It seems that someone needs a Diagonal Lasermode for that. :D

BlockID-Conflict, please check the configs for all the Configs.

I would not change the BC or the IC-config, because many SMP-Servers have them left unchanged.

not even going to touch this, not even with an 50 meter electrified pole

What the extraction of Colors or that the Forum deletes threads every 12 hours (i assumed it because today at ~midnight and at today at ~noon were some removed/archived)

Edit: FenixR no rage or something like that? I calculated that, oh moment you're an Asshole, i cannot calculate with you properly.

    welcome to the forums :)
assuming you don't get banned for this thread (unlikely but you never know when/if alblaka may snap)
this is what we call a repeat suggestion these are generally frowned upon here in what seems to be a progressively severer manner unless it is very well thought out and even then you still get people trolling you about it.
in the future please read ALL THE STICKIES before posting in any of the sub-forums and run a search for similar threads already in existence if you didn't do this any thread you start may get locked and kicked to the archives within 24 hours 12 hours

    I corrected you a bit.

Does it actually cause any issues? In my experience Java just noms up the RAM until the OS starts running out then it stops (and actually clears up after itself) and runs as normal. For some reason the JVM only frees up RAM when it is actually running low on RAM.

Try using a Virtual Box container and limiting it to say 4GBs.

The incremental Garbagecollector causes issues to some Linuxusers, with Windows it's working flawlessly.

Straight to the Archive with that.

Edit: if you dont follow the rules and not even try to proof that this isn't already suggested then you deserve it.

PS: It was suggested by FenixR our certified Asshole, so you will get problems with him.

You had enough time to fulfill the requirement for a new Suggestionthread, but you didn't so you deserve that your Thread moves to Archive AGAIN.

PS. since i know that this new Rule is here, i'm looking very often at the Archive to see how many people are not reading the rules.

PPS. the new rule was added in an outdated Thread, without some notice about that addition, so i've not looked at it and even one of my Threads got moved to Archive, because of that.

Optimizer haha, with Google-Chrome i had the same problem twice, it just loaded the already visited "Errorsite", instead of the Replysite. I fixed it by using the second Replybutton on top of the Threads.

Or its just, because you're using Appleproducts. :P

Im well aware of how its supposed to work still it would be convenient so i have to dig unter the miner and "plug the hole" kind of annoying xD

Why digging under Miner? I'm just standing in sneakmode next to it and dismantle it via Wrench...

... And then i plug the Hole with Cobble to see if i already mined there (and of course to not fall in).

So its just bad luck and i have to fill up the hole by hand if i want to geht rid of it?

RichardG has implemented a new restriction to the GUI-Slots for not allowing any Stuff thats not used for the item (Batterieslot only allows Batteries, Upgradeslots only allowing Upgrades and so on). I guess that this happened also to the Miner. And the Miner not fills the complete hole, only the 1x1-hole where the Miningpipe was, so just put a Cobble in, to prevent falling into it.

like what gregoriousT said i thought you were inactive so i didn't check that thread after reading it for the 3 third time.
@gregoriousT its entirely possible that the archive system is automated i say if we don't here back in 3 days we just repost the topics and cross our fingers

I don't think its automated, because Adien said the exact amount of Posts, which were able to fullfill the Requirement, so the devs definetly talked about these Threads. Oh and even a "You need 25 Posts for creating a Thread"-automation is FAILED, so why should be that automated?
