How do you re-enable the Forestry bronze recipe? It doesn't appear to be in the config anywhere.

Redpower+lots of watermills+lots of buckets+infinite spring=Automatic high output system that works forever. Easy and relatively cheap for the output. I still prefer though, thats hard to beat).

You really need redpower and the Advanced Machines plugin for an effective setup. I have one that consumes 88 EU/t and produces 1800 EU/t, plus TONS of extra ice(cooling system is too good for reactor), great for scrap production.

I think it should work like the Induction Furnace (like the Rotary Macerator in the Advanced Machines mod). The induction furnaces uses so much less energy than an electro furnace with overclockers in it, and yet it is still super fast. Either the induction furnace is OP, or the overclockers are consuming too much energy(and they are expensive compared to what you need for an induction furnace)

This crashes the game whenever I try to place one of the energy couplers. I am running IC2 1.15, BC 2.2.2, as well as SPC, TMI, and the IC2 Advanced Machines addon. I cant get a crash log because the game doesnt show one when it crashes.
EDIT: Got it working, turns out i was running BC 2.2.1 instead of 2.2.2
Sweet mod. thanks -
O thanks, I didn't see that addon.

It would be AWESOME if there was a way to power buildcraft machines with EU because IMO buildcraft's energy system is far inferior to IC's system. Also, it would be nice to pipe liquids (lava) into machines (geothermal generators).

Is there a way to prevent MFE's or BatBoxes from emitting EU? Redstoning them still makes them power a magnetizer, so i guess it isn't shutting off energy flow. Or does the magnetizer store energy and run off that? I ask this so that i could shut off the magnetizer with a button so that it wouldnt keep people attached to it.

and also tin cables are good for nothing but connecting to solar panels because of the 5 eut threshold
5eu/t? Its doing >150 eu/t without melting. But if i hook it up to a batbox it melts. Is that because its 150*1eu/t pulses instead of 1*150eu/t pulse?
-
Theres no loss because as of now tin cables suffer no energy loss
-
Also, if you do this, make sure to put the redstone on stone or cobble. When I did this, the dirt under the redstone going to the reactor caught on fire, therefore leaving the reactor running :O

Yea its incredibly hard to keep this thing functional, I think IndustrialCraft needs some kind of coil built into it that multiplies the HV leads cause 2K per transformer is kinda cheap, I mean disposable camera capacitors can do 6KV and they are tiny, so imagine something Minecraft Life Size. I want to build a 10 Million EU/s system but if its going to be 128 levels high then I might as well give up now, no where near enough processing power....
Disposable camera caps can do 300V, definately not 6000V.

Here's a 156eu/t design with no energy loss through cables. Also, no fibre cable needed, just tin cables.
-
What texture pack is that?
-
Can't you do it without the redpower mod
-
It has a very little loss, and can't carry even 5 eu/t. It is for solar wiring, i guess... An it is shocky!!! Very shocky... Why does ultra-low voltage shock so hard?
it actaully can handle a lot more than 5 eu/t IF its coming from solar panels and no other source. I have a setup with 50 eu/t with this cable and no meltage. But if i hook two batboxes together it melts. I don't know if this is intended though.
EDIT: Ive now tested it to 150EU/t using only solar panels and the cable is fine. I think there isn't a current limit as long as power is from solar panels
