Magic blocks are the death of most mods.
If there is one thing Eloraam screwed up with it is blutricity, she made it use a ton of very low power generators powering low power machines, should have added some high powered machines and proper generators (instead of the "infinte" generates like solar and the thermophile).

the higher the level the easier it is to cross breed new plants so start with a cross breed square of 1 rose, 1 reed, 1 melon, and 1 dandelion they are are all level 2 and don't need to be crossbreed first. same thing with nether wart you don't need seed bags and its a relatively higher level plant

Not sure why HV is supposed to be better than EV regarding the loss, however the point is: yes you can use glass fiber cables for minimal loss and have a wind tower setup like yours that produces around 10k EU per tick, but if you would have created the same setup with EV transformers and iron cables it would produce something like 9.5k EU. It would still be more than enough for almost everything. So you cannot say that glass fiber cable are a requirement for wind mill setups, they are just the final perfection for it if you have the diamonds to spare.
your kidding me right? the fact that you "can" make a 10k windfarm is some how bad? like your expecting every one is going to go out and build crazy spwnx style windfarms? I think you have the words "can" and "will" mixed up this is minecraft i "can" build whatever i want(and anyone who tries to tell me other wise gets an arrow to the knee) but am a going to build a massive green farm? personally the answer is no. green gens may supplement my base but I rely on fuel burning gens cause the fuel can last longer than i will play minecraft in one sitting and thats good enough for me I have more interesting stuff to do then dangle my self 128 blocks into the air just to fall to my death every 5 minutes. if you ask me if some one is crazy enough to build a GGMD(Green Gen of Mass Destruction) they should be rewarded for having an impressive attention span.

Leaves can already be crafted into plantballs. I just can't use the plantballs on anything useful without using up nonrenewable tin.

i would guess that iriduim would be made less magically conductive as a ballance
a maxed unbreakable iv enchantment will make a tool last 4 times longer (unbreakable x might be truly unbreakable but i think you need to hack that in) and with the right enchantments the diamond ax should out pace the chainsaw in theory
yeah rubber and birch use the same leaves to save on block id's try breeding sticky reed
you can use the custom recipes mod to add a recipe that lets you craft leaves into plant balls

this is an asshole move even for them the game re-sparked interest in the franchise(50000 downloads in the first 24 hours of release) and as a result a bunch of people ran out and bought wingcommander games from gog.com and now after things have settled down they are killing the goose that lay'd the golden egg for kicks. from what i saw of the C&D before the thread disappeared they want the devs to remove everything from the game that suggests that its wingcommander by the 28th most notably the logos and insignia
you can do the following to manage your leaves/clear your inentory
1. plant all trees on a 1x1 dirt block so you can get underneath with out knocking off leaves(then they will decay on their own)
2. lay and punch like gravel
3. throw the leaves on the ground/in a deep hole and wait for them to despawn
4. install a mod that uses leaf blocks
5. make and maintain hedge statues and other decorations around your house(i recommend a series of hedge lined cobble road with stone slab side walks leading every where)
6. use it as guilt free recycler fodder (you know you feel guilty building that cobble gen just to make scrap admit it)
7. throw it in lava (you already have lava laying around from your cobble gen just convert it to a disposal)
8. use the chainsaw as a weapon to gain exp and enchant yourself a diamond axe
9. throw it in an EE transmutation table

nope there have been threads on this before. there are no separate electric shears in the pipe. the devs are aware of what it does they made it that way, and they are not going to change it (nor should they)

and why would they do a stupid thing like that? you'll use up more eu grinding with a chainsaw to burn straight saplings, or your "finite" tin reserves for cans of bio fuel trying to exploit this so there is no problem

I've been using my chainsaw to cut down trees (that's what it's for!) and on ordinary trees (not rubber trees, those work fine) when I use the chainsaw to clear the leaves it gives me leaf blocks - which I do not want! I want to destroy the leaves to get saplings back so I can replant my trees or use the excess for fuel, not get useless leaf blocks, and I want to use my chainsaw because it is much faster at destroying leaf blocks. Will this characteristic be removed in a future version of IC2?
I hear that chainsaws have been made to act like like electric shears as well as an electric axe. I hope this will be replaced with an actual electric shears tool, instead of throwing this on the chainsaw.
NO! I HAVEN'T MADE MY UNLIMITED APPLE GEN YET! fyi breaking a leaf with a chainsaw drops both leaves, and saplings, and apples. and you can just set a leaf block down and hit it over and over if you want.
I would not mind an improved version of the bucket, but thats just me.
how about a wet/dry shopvac? it can suck up and dispense fluids and soils perfect for wiping those noob dirt huts off your front lawn or clean up all that sand from last weeks griefer attack.
