Ah I see all his usual ass kissing minions have posted, throwing there best insults great job!!.

why thank you I'm glad to see that despite how far they have fallen the tree-punching-dirthut-dwellers can still recognize talent when it presents its self

I know name calling and insults really reflect and represent the community well.

oh yes cause things would be so much better if we were all a bunch of squishy spineless worms that go along with what ever people tell them. and don't act all high and mighty yourself you started slinging insults and now your getting them back ten fold the ic2 devs are some of the best mod developers in the community not because they update on time or write the most reliable code. they are respected, loved, and defended because when treated with respect they interact with and respect the community back.

That don't stop the fact that a small percent of the ic2 community run around on these forums with impunity saying and acting however they want. The only condition would be your posts and comments must be in favor of the moderators or the ic2 team , then you talk like and act like "most" of the posters above me.

oh the grammer nazi's are going to have fun with this string :) but I won't cause I'm not one of them. we don't oppose you cause we fear banning heck our flaming responses are probably frowned upon by alblaka himself. we oppose you cause your poorly written, loud, and offensive brain droppings reflect poorly on this community and (to put it nicely) we strongly want you to take up the practice of thinking before you post.

just reread the rules for the support subfoum http://forum.industrial-craft.…?page=Thread&threadID=224
they state that a thread will be deleted if you don't

    Quote

    - Make a thread with the subject "Support Request: [Your problem]" or "Question: [Your question] in the forum IndustrialCraft|Support.
(Make sure that your problem isn't a bug or a suggestion)

    Quote

    - Please use proper grammar and write readable sentences, it's hard to help people you don't understand.

    Quote

Ignoring any of these rules will usually cause instant deletion of your thread.

this thread violates the rules and should be cast into the void for the highest law of these forums is READ THE STICKIES FIRST!

Which one? Do you mean the one, which was already eaten by Alblaka or THIS one.

And it's FenixR not fenrix, but its his Name, not mine, so you could ignore me.

the ritual is to powerful to waste on some all in one armor poster it should be saved for jerks, trolls, flamers, and those that offend the devs directly like this guy.

but seriously behavior like this is why asking for a release date is a bannable offence. because the vast majority of those who ask are horrible jerk face n00bs on an entitlement kick that think they can trash talk mod developers and get away with it.

if it's an automatic Feedinghelmet, that works on Canned Food, then good i could need it, because Solarhelmet is useless for me (Caves)

A Spongebobachievement, when you craft it.

why yes, yes it is an auto feed hat that lets you slurp canned flesh through a straw. what should the name of the achievement be? "curse of the soda drink hat"? "your #1"?

    Name: Drinking hat

Description: this is like those funny caps you see at sporting events with the cans on the sides. in industrial craft this would be a multipurpose device that you can fill with the canned good of your choice to gain different effects. what the hat will do all depends on what you fill it with(the hat is filled in a canning machine and you can only fill it with 1 kind of canned good at a time no mixing)

note: these are just examples and add "until depleted" to the end of all these sentences

    1.milk: auto-cures cave spider poison
2.water: auto-extinguishes you if you are on fire
3.mushroom stew: auto fills hunger bar
4.food cans: auto restores health and hunger bar
5.empty cells/glass bottles: auto fills oxygen bar
    6.booze/coffee: auto resets buffs
7.soda suggestion: auto fills hunger bar
8.liquid fuel: auto powers the generator you have the gui open to(this one maybe a stretch)

the big stuff i couldn't decide and is totally open to debate more so than anything else is. first how much do you have to stuff in a canning machine to fill the hat? second how many uses is the hat good for? third should the hat be more or less efficient than drinking manually? forth flaws that i didn't think of.

    recipe:
    :Tin Can::Bronze Helmet::Tin Can:
    :Rubber::Rubber::Rubber:

    ?

    [begin joke]
P.S. if you sleep in a bed while wearing the hat you maybe visited by a ghost that looks like a shopping list and it will tell you your hat is cursed and must be returned to its deceased owner
    [end joke]

So, if this isn't obvious, IndustrialCraft isn't coded democratically. No one's voting, and you can't personally determine how much of your idea is implemented, if any.

don't worry it is obvious its so obvious I don't need to worry about what I say concerning the matter. normally I'm willing to tweak and adjust ideas based feedback to please a larger audience but that was simply a step to far as it would only please him and no one else so I responded that I wouldn't tweak the suggestion to please him. but I am aware and recognize that in the end all decisions are made by those with the power to code.

It would work...exept for the fact that it gives you potion buffs. I mean I get that people want to make potion brewing more industrialy but without modifying the source file for brewing and modifying the hell out of brewing stands I don't see the use for duplicates...

Otherwise good idea. Just disclude the potion esque effects and ill vote for it.

brewing beer already gives potion buffs thats the whole point to industrial brewing this is just an easier to start weaker version of it and it would be point less with out the 1 in something CHANCE of a batch of soda granting realistic(i.e. no fire resistance or underwater breathing) buffs and half the time these buffs may be negative. I will NOT disclude the buff accept them or vote no.

    tl;dr: Industrial Sodas?

    and my responce

Soda would be a new brewing recipe for those who want to get in to brewing but haven't crossbred hops yet.

Soda sounds cool, but seems like an unnecessary addition.
Also, we don't need to give people more of a reason to make friggen huge cactus farms...
If other people like it, don't listen to me, but just my two cents

answered in the order you said it
yes very cool, keep in mind necessity is up to the devs in the end.
since the reasons already exists we have basically hit the upper limit of how big a farm people are willing to build another reason won't make much of a difference. (and we can make green dye give a poison buff instead)
    so your neutral then.

Name: soda, soda bottle, soda can

Description: Soda would be a new brewing recipe for those who want to get in to brewing but haven't crossbred hops yet. All the recipes would consist of water cell, sugar, and dye and would feed the player 1/2-1 food point due to the calories in the sugar (1 food for fizzy soda, and 1/2 for flat soda). After adding the ingredients the player will wait for the soda to carbonate this process can be accelerated if there are other active barrels next to the soda barrel. When the soda carbonates there is a 1 in something chance of the soda gaining some positive or negative buffs depending on what dye was used (for example green dye grants speed while red dye grants strength). Unbuffed sodas will all appear the same(looks like root-beer) and will stack together regardless of the dye originally used. If the barrel is tapped before it carbonates the player will get flat soda, and flat soda never has buffs.

Soda bottles are reusable containers to drink soda and booze out of normal glass bottles won't due cause they look like they came out of a legend of zelda game and are topped with corks which will make the soda go flat. Soda bottles will be crafted the same way as glass bottles but will have a metal ingot (any metal ingot) in the top center of the crafting grid to represent the bottle cap. The recipe will yield 4 soda bottles. you get your bottle back when you drink out of it.

Soda cans are disposable containers and will be destroyed when drunken out of (with a 1 in 20 chance of yielding scrap to represent a crushed can code permitting). note: this would use tin cells the tin cans recipe is to inefficient

    Recipe: see Description

the wire strippers are also used to add insulation so lets say your cheep early game and wire your house with non-insulated cable then you can upgrade later with out ripping all your wires out.
