Then the next step is fusing the abilities of the Quantum torse+Jetpack+Lappack no? Lol.

Dont like the idea. (At least in this way, the other way its a company secret of Assholes Inc)

thats different cause you have a more limited number of armor slots and makes it way easier to kill thing as you work the worst an advance tool box could do is give you more inventory space for swords. also more things can be done to the toolbox to balance it for example not letting it carry a mining laser or nano saber and that when carrying the toolbox it will demand the batpacks and lappacks attention so they won't charge other items creating a similar tactical choice as choosing between a quantum torso or a lappack.

AT ABOVE or you could just cut down on the number of tools it can hold (instead of all at once maybe 3 at once)
EDIT: look my point is sure it shifts the balance but its not as bad as "all in one armor"

    Name: advanced tool box

Description: the idea boiled down to its basic parts is an item that can be loaded with tools and you can use all those tools without unpacking the tool box. to use a tool just set the toolbox to the appropriate mode.EDIT: like changing modes on a mining laser

Recipe:don't know don't care some one always posts a different one they think is better any ways

EDIT: alternative suggestion for those concerned with balance
    Name: bronze multi-tool

Description: again boiled down to the basic parts "all the bronze tools" + "standard wrench" + "tree tap" + "undetermined item to act as the frame"(tool box? advanced machine block?)= "bronze multi-tool" this will all ways act as if the right tool for the job is out.

so if you hit a zombie with it it hurts like a bronze sword, if you hit stone it mines it like a bronze pickaxe, hit a tree it chops it down with the speed of a bronze axe, short click dirt tills long click digs so on and so forth. when it loses all durability it is not destroyed but it starts working like your using your fist the only way to restore it is to throw the spent tool in a crafting grid with a new set of items. the bronze multi-tools durability would be equal to or lesser than the combine durability of all the items its up to alblaka in the end.

Blame Snoochy and GregoriousT, they kept spamming bad ideas one after the other these past weeks >.>.

And No. And you wont leave IC2, at best you will install both mods together and see how stupid that line you posted was.

Also this thread will serve as a Bloody head on a Stick to the next people who will even think about posting a luminator/Lightning rod thread.

dang and I thought the warp drive and solar furnace would have put me on snoochy's level in your book I guess I'll just have to try harder (jk its april first)

    1. Dye Sheep.
    2. Breed Sheep.
    3. Shear Sheep.
    4. Repeat, or just do 3 if you have enough sheep.
    5. Extract unlimited amounts of dye.

    1.-1 dye
    2.-2 wheat every 5 minutes
3.-1 use of shears every however long it takes for sheep to get hungry
    4.same
5.wonder how this is cheaper than just breeding dandelions

simply put a good dye crop can yield more dye for less cost than a sheep farm and ITS DYE! at least with cobble (which my cobble gen produces unlimited amounts) i can make houses and tools and weapons and stuff.

To mine second block without touching first is kind of magic :(

not really we got teleporter tech :D seriously teleporters could solve all problems in a scifi setting but for some reason no one uses them to their full potential (stargate came the closest i've seen by weaponizing the tech to beam nukes aboard hiveships). a mass fab can give you purple goo that you can turn into iron but a teleporter can give you a completed machine if you did it right

The only reason (Like i said in the OP) to not get some wool colors its because those use some direct items instead of Dyes, If the corresponding dyes gets added i dont see why it can not be added.

perhaps when you try to extract a color that gives a direct item you get that color a shade lighter (so blue wool yields cyan dye)
