Don't knock it till you try it bro
I think he was referencing the fact that you called his server lame without trying it.
I checked part of the code, and it does appear that Venomilia can cause poison damage to anything that walks over it, also I'm not certain, but doing so appears to reduce its current growth state slightly.
Go into the computercraft config, and change block ID 4095 to something else under 4096, if it crashes again, look for a line that looks like this "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 4095 is already occupied by ic2.core.block.BlockTex@c06ea2 when adding dan200.computer.shared.BlockComputer@1ea6766" and repeat for the number in "Slot XXXX" until the crashes stop.
so, i had changed the option in IC2 where it says it will try to look for new free ids to true, and i installed back computer craft, now the game is like 2 minutes ago stuck (not responding) i don't know if its working or crashed with no log but i will try to wait more time and see if it does something good
edit: it crashed, i will try to get new ids, and see if it breaks my map..
Copy your map's ID's (ic2_map) into your IC2 config file, then use Find and Replace to change "Item." and "Block." to "I:" (capital i), when you start it up, if it crashes with computercraft, post the crashlog here.
First off, fucking awesome!
Greg-tech (this mod inspired me to come back, this guy knows his shit and is on top of the problems other modders disregard)
Second, what configs? Are we going to have the extremely expensive UU-Matter enabled, or the nano-saber and mining laser expensive recipes? If so I suppose that might make for some interesting End warfare.
EDIT: Also on the subject of GregTech, assuming they can be turned off, are we going to allow RedPower gems to be used as GregTech substitutes?
I've been using forge quite a long time; Checked version thrice before posting error, checked it to be working, downloaded IC2 as said, error is not caused by any other mod [note : there IS no error, IC is just not visible or usabe]. Forge does not recognize IC2, only suspicious thing is that it 'cannot access IC2 files' as if file was corrupted, but redownloading IC2 does nothing to fix it.
What browser are you using?
Can I get a show of hands for anyone who wants the server back?
Do you honestly expect anyone that sees this post to say no to that?
QuoteEffectively yes, that line says that there is a 10% chance that it will do the calculations for a lightning strike if it is raining, but its a little more completed then that:
This basically says that the top of the lightning Rod has to be higher then 128 blocks high in order for there to be a chance that lightning will strike when it is just raining, beyond that the probability remains the same.
Good to know, I was under the impression that it ONLY happened in lightning storms.
Now Forestry lets us manipulate the rain...
Oh god! Here come the perpetuum machines!
When I try to change the ID's for this mod, it crashes... I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thank You
Can you post your error log?
I just used an eu-reader and it DOES produce energy. Thing is, the liquid amount stays at 0 and i cant see the liquid inside the diesel generator
I never knew if it was a glitch or not, but biofuel has never had a liquid appear in the Diesel Generator.
the liquid doesn't stay in the generator and it does not produce any energy. might just be a problem on my end.
Biofuel cells don't change the number that says Liquid Amount, but I have been relying upon Biofuel for quite some time now, and I assure you it is producing energy for me in the latest version.
I honestly think that gregtechs nano suit recipe is moronic.
Saber or Suit? I don't think Greg changed the suit.
I have the recommended version of forge installed, but when i put the ic2 file in the mods folder, it crashes at startup, so then i delete the mod and my game works fine. what do i do?? please help
What do you do? You post an error log of course! Sorry, people can't help unless you post an error log using the instructions here.
Tiny dusts were hidden since a while ago.. was requested by someone..
IIRC, mistaqur I believe.
Actually, it is even easier. FTB has a built-in mod adder. just right click, go to edit modpack and press add mod and just select it the gregtech folder. if you are still using the old 1.4.2 beta pack, you may want to upgrade to one of the other packs.
Yeah, but take out the other GregTech first, or else you will get yelled at by the console.
Quote"Why did you install my Addon twice? Remove the second gregtechmod.zip out of your mods-Folder, you need only one of them. And another Question: Why the Hack did Forge not detect that before me?"
EDIT again: We have found the source of the problem! OmniTools seems to mess the (bleep) out of Forestry's and IC2's API.
If you think OmniTools is the problem, try updating to the latest version here.
@above, I suggest starting with just IC2 and GregTech, and then adding mods from there to find the source of the problem.
So what is the difference between Venomilia and Tulip?
Pretty much nothing, I don't think there has ever been a difference, I think Venomilia is meant to be a sort of "off-breed" of Tulip.
