If you decompiled it correctly, I think you should be able to call items by name like you can normally with vanilla items.
-
And before you start correcting other people's grammar/spelling, I'd suggest that you fix your own. You don't make a lot of mistakes, but please write flawlessly yourself if you want to correct others.
In this case, Mat is actually correct, your change would make it a split infinitive, which, while it is a stupid and unfounded rule of English grammar, it is still the convention not to put anything between the to and the verb. -
Hey Greg,
I think I've found a little bug.
If I set ConstantEnergyMachine to false, it doesn't honour it and sets it back to true.
Using the latest version
Did you change the config in the GregTech folder? -
Is there are version somewhere that fixes the machines' API calls or disables API error messages?
Because spamming the console with "[WARNING] [IC2] API ERROR: ic2.core.block.machine.tileentity.TileEntityMacerator@7c96ade5 didn't implement demandsEnergy() properly, no energy from injectEnergy accepted although demandsEnergy() returned true." or similar is getting pretty ridiculous. I am getting dozens of messages per second.
Not yet, I agree with Kane Hart, there should definitely be a config option to turn it off -
-
FYI getting these periodically in my server console. They don't seem to be breaking much. Forge build 480
API ERROR: chb.mods.mffs.common.TileEntityExtractor@26068df1 didn't implement demandsEnergy() properly, no energy from injectEnergy accepted although demandsEnergy() returned true.
That's normal (and somewhat annoying/spammy), it means that a block that is connected to an E-net is in an unloaded chunk.

Yes, it possible. Can you tell me with the fix? srry for bad english
Sorry it took me so long to reply, I did not have Internet access for quite a while, and it still might not work after doing this. Go to your .minecraft folder, open the "saves" folder, open the file titled "ic2_map", then open the config folder and open the IC2 config file, then copy the entries that begin with "block." into your blocks section of the IC2 config file and the ones that begin with "item." into the items section, hit control + H (or the replace function) and replace "block." and "item." with "I:". If it doesn't work, then that was unfortunately not the problem.

If you need emeralds for datachips, make a small scrapboxinator machine. I got 32 recyclers running nonstop and have emeralds for everything i can use for. Sapphires and rubies are all used (lapotrons/chrome). Also i'm getting titanium which makes me free from centrifuging bauxite.
I found a village with a price of 16 wool for 1 emerald, I immediately became a sheep farmer and I can get 3 stacks of emerald for every maximum efficiency trip, so that's also another semi-easy way. -
Have you updated Forestry to the latest version? If not do that, if it still doesn't work, I'm suspecting an API failure, so try the thread titled "Trivial fix for 'incompatibilitys' of a NEW IC² version to other mods." stickied in this Support forum (sorry, I can't hyperlink stuff on my current computer).

You would still need a crapton of rubies for chrome. 3456 rubies for fusion reactor coils
Oh god! THAT'S ACTUALLY POSSIBLE NOW! -
Bad example: You need to harvest a few thousand ender pearls to make a fusion reactor, which, upon being made, is incredibly overpowered because of the ease in obtaining the materials.
Should the player not be rewarded for reaching the "end game"? It takes forever to make a fusion reactor, do you want it to go back to its 4096 eu/t output where it doesn't pay for itself unless left on for several days?

Quoteonly thing we can do is WAIT for her answer and STOP talking about this. It wont lead us anywhere.
this, I'm going to stop posting on this subject, people's opinions will not change, we are essentially having a pointless argument over whether or not Greg knows what he is doing better than [insert mod developer here].

Eloraam doesn't like people to mess around with her code, it is fine, but this is not touching a single line of her code.
Slight correction, Eloraam doesn't like people touching her mod in general, not just her code, I'm pretty sure that Immibis did not use Eloraam's code when she shut his addon down because she has her "own plans in mind".
-
Seriously? Are we really having a debate on who knows what is best for a sandbox game? The point of Minecraft is to do what you want to do, mods extend that capability, and so with GregTech if you have people that think that modded gameplay in its current state is too easy, you use the GregTech config file to ramp the difficulty up, if you think it is too hard, you use the config file to take the difficulty down. I don't see what is so controversial about this.

my minecraft crashed when i started it
Link of error: http://pastebin.com/GWcWjDwEIt's a simple block ID error, probably not worth reporting
-
I have the same issue with generator, it happend when i placed
and
next to the generator, then i tried to place one piece of coal to generator , and got the same crash.
My guess is that it is an API failure, try this

RedPower is a special case. Eloraam dislikes people tampering with her mod.
It is defaulted off by the way, I'm not taking sides here, but it really is just more of an option than something that is forced.

how to i get ic2 1.112? or is it only for devs
Yep (clicky clicky)
