Can you base your breaking speed of the ores off hardness instead of making diamond picks and drills the only one that mines it at a decent speed?
So the osmium drill (which should be faster than the diamond) can mine it. Currently it mines slower than a diamond drill on your ores.

BTW i can lunch the game and creat a world just fine but as soon as i place any blockl of this mod it crash my game.
That's how this particular error works, it compiles and runs just fine, but when a block is placed it calls upon a method or class that isn't there

Googling for "macerator" returns mostly IC2. Is it a real thing?I thought macerators crash to dust and centrifuge ores or something.
Also think that difference between "technology" and "magic" in IC2 is mostly cosmetic. Give Thaumcraft stuff technological-sound names and graphics - and it will be as "tech" as IC2. May be more

it's a class folder so i'm assuming minecraft.jar.

Ah, kk. But, why do you say it as if Tekkit and Technic are bad mod packs? They are some of the most fun mod packs I've ever used, admittedly slow to update and sometimes lacks in a feeling that all the mods are working together, but that is just the slight curse that mod compilations must bear in order to provide simple mod packs for those that want to play either single player Minecraft without the hassle of manual mod installation or multiplayer with many others that are using the same mods.
I prefer to let people form their own opinions, so here, here, and here

Hey, I got this weird crash when placing the solar panel. I don't know if anybody knows a fix to this problem.
I did install a lot of mods and this usually goes just fine and everything else works, but this is the first time that CompactSolars has crashed on me

I'm not sure why GregTech's Addon hasn't been incorporated into Tekkit/Technic though, it seems to be an awesome sounding mod.
Greg specifically made it so Technic couldn't use it, and why the hell would he want his stuff in that pack?

um as of now no they don't, i don't think its possible or it would do anything because i haven't seen any difference between diamond drill and normal drill.
I don't think it's possible, however there is a noticeable difference between the diamond drill and the normal drill, the diamond drill goes much faster but consumes more energy

1. Create folder on desktop
2. Grab minecraft_server.jar from minecraft.net
3. Put the .jar in the folder
4. Drop the latest version of Forge universal into the minecraft_server.jar in the folder
5. Do NOT delete META-INF
6. Run the server
7. Drop any mods you want on it into the newly created mods folder
