Updated to IC2 v1.97!
Also updated and added several other mods, but most notably, added: Immibis Modular Forcefields and my favorite, the brand new Gravitation Suite.

Nice mod :). I had trouble installing it though.. no matter how I would name it (mod_zGraviSuite_1_0_client.zip, zmod_zGraviSuite_1_0_client.zip, zzzzmod_zGraviSuite_1_0_client.zip), it would always load before IC2 had a chance to load and register its items, causing this error in recipe registration:
Code
Display Morejava.lang.NullPointerException at fr.a(CraftingManager.java:175) at ClientRegistry.addRecipe(ClientRegistry.java:20) at cpw.mods.fml.common.registry.FMLRegistry.addRecipe(FMLRegistry.java:41) at ModLoader.addRecipe(ModLoader.java:179) at mod_GraviSuite.load(mod_GraviSuite.java:98) at cpw.mods.fml.common.modloader.ModLoaderModContainer.init(ModLoaderModContainer.java:351) at cpw.mods.fml.common.Loader.modInit(Loader.java:263) at cpw.mods.fml.common.Loader.initializeMods(Loader.java:604) at cpw.mods.fml.client.FMLClientHandler.onLoadComplete(FMLClientHandler.java:203) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.a(Minecraft.java:426) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(Minecraft.java:735) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:680)
Adding this to mod_GraviSuite fixed it:

Hey thanks everyone for their interest. Not really expecting this mod to get too popular in its current state, its fairly niche.. originally I was planning on making my own items (so the mod would be independent except for IC2, though it could optionally integrate with and use items from other mods), then making tons of different berries you could crossbreed to produce interesting and unique effects – but I might not get around to doing all that, so I figured I'd release what I have so far :).
Woo!!! One of the things that always irked me about Trees++ was that the berry bushes were so inferior to Inficraft's, this addon makes me _happy_
It works great for me in single player - with the minor exception that the crops flicker green/black occasionally.
It's not working for me on Bukkit though. Then again, crops themselves have problems with the cb build. With IC2 included in the server jar, I can plant berries in crops normally and see the flickering as in SSP. However, the crops never grow past their initial state and they do not persist through a server reboot. Have not tried regular SMP yet.
What builds of MCPC and IC2 are you using? With IC2 1.95b r2 on MCPC build 91 (current recommended) with Forge 3.1.3.105 and many other mods, I'm not seeing either problems: the crops don't flicker for me (in SSP nor SMP), they grow as normal, and do persist after restarting the server. Not seeing any other problems with the regular crops either. Can you test if any other cropcard add-ons work as expected? Maybe its a bug with IC2 and the new versions of Forge/FML/MCPC?

You know that IC² 1.96 is out? (look at the Wiki)
Even if the Addons are not all out yet, its just a bad timing to start a new Server, with a seriously bugged Version of IC².Yes but it hasn't been ported yet, though probably will be soon after the links on the wiki are fixed, then I could update :). But 1.95b is not that bad actually, sure it has bugs which were fixed in 1.96 but is still very playable. Though I haven't posted it here until today, the server has been up for several months already; have been getting a lot of enjoyment out of the versions currently installed, even though there is something brand new and better just released.
But you do have a point about timing.. and I launched the first version of ExpHC -- with Minecraft 1.1, on the day of Minecraft 1.2's release :). Can't get too worked up about it.. Nonetheless, the server is still up and accepting new members if anyone is interested in playing some old-school IC2 v1.95b.

Weird.. guess it somehow partially failed to upload. Re-uploaded, should be available now. -
Could you please make a server for vanilla version. Many of us need it.
Sorry, I tried to but failed (had trouble recompiling IC^2). But if anyone more familiar with IC^2 add-ons wants to "un-port" the Bukkit server version to vanilla server, please do, the license permits it and I'm fine with anyone using my update to help out2012-05-18 09:15:44 [FINER] Pre-initializing /opt/mc/mods/mod_chargingbench-server-1.95b-mcpc1.2.5-r1.zip

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/server/BaseModYou're using the Bukkit server port with the vanilla server.. this won't work, unfortunately. Hopefully someone can make a vanilla server version.
FINE: Failed to load mod from "mod_IC2_ChargingBench.class"

FINER: THROW
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ic2/common/BlockMultiIDThis means the add-on is loading before IC2. Try this version:
Client: mod_chargingbench-client-1.95b-1.2.5-r2.zip
Server (Bukkit) mod_chargingbench-server-1.95b-mcpc1.2.5-r2.zipwhich adds a priority to the add-on, so it should load after IC2. It also fixes not detecting clients connecting without the mod (note, r1 and r2 are server/client compatible). If r2 doesn't fix this error, try renaming the mods so that Charging Bench loads after IC2 (e.g., rename IC2 to start with AA-.., or something).

Ever wanted to grow berries in IndustrialCraft^2? With Berries++, now you can.
Crops:
Vine - planted with a vine, drops vines
Blackberry - planted with a blackberry, drops blackberries
Raspberry - planted with a raspberry, drops raspberries
Blueberry - planted with a blueberry, drops blueberries
Huckleberry - planted with a huckleberry, drops huckleberriesEach grows in three stages: seed, unripe, and ripe. Crops can be picked when ripe, and revert to unripe. Growth rate is similar to melons/pumpkins. If you're lucky enough you may be able to acquire berries by crossing vines with other crops.
Installation and Configuration:
Important: while Berries++ supplies its own crops, it does not add any new items itself. Another mod is required to add the berry items. You can configure the item IDs and damage values in config/Berries++.cfg as needed, or set to 0 to disable. If you don't use another mod, you'll only be able to grow vines.
Berries++ comes configured with default IDs matching the Trees++ mod. Note Berries++ is not endorsed or affiliated by Trees++; its a separate independently-developed project, and Trees++ is not required to use Berries++ although it does work well with it. If anyone is interested in designing & adding custom items to Berries++ itself, it would be much appreciated :).
1. Install Trees++ or another mod with berries
2. Edit config/Berries++.cfg if needed to enable/disable/match the item IDs
3. Add Berries++ to the "mods" folder on your client and serverScreenshots:

Nice debugging tool, thanks for this
I couldn't find your level.dat, but was able to acquire this crop using pymclevel, using something like this: (assuming a growing crop near 0,0)

Mod fully Ported!
Hey that's awesome, really looking forward to using this addon on Bukkit. Can you share your port? -
k, thanks!
Added license to port - same as original mod (its a derivative work, after all) -
Has anyone received the source? I PM'd Thunderdark, awaiting reply. Seems that Dragonkin's GitHub repository for this project is still empty

my friend installed the 1.90 version on the server and we both installed the client. the blocks are craft-able and place-able, but when someone tries to open the GUI, the server crashes, but it works fine in singleplayer. what is going on? Is it a GUI conflict?
also... it just says GUI conflict, aborting in the console
1.90 is for IndustrialCraft^2 v1.90 and Minecraft 1.2.4, are you trying to use it on IndustrialCraft^2 v1.95b and Minecraft 1.2.5? If not, no idea, but if you are, I posted an updated version for 1.95b here: http://forum.industrial-craft.…ad&postID=56757#post56757 (the GUI handling changed in recent versions, with the switch from ModLoaderMp to Minecraft Forge).

If you try
mushroomhostage's update, save your world first. On my map it made the chunk i was in when I last saved reset.Do you mean the entire chunk was reset, or the charged items in the chunk were reset, or something else? Can you post your console log and list of all mods you have installed (before and after, on client and server)?
I haven't seen this problem myself.. tested importing a 1.2.3 world with most of the same mods, the charging bench loaded fine, the charge levels of the items within it were preserved, and it was still able to charge new items, as expected.

Hey, I took a stab at updating this to 1.95b, and from ModLoaderMp to FML:
mod_chargingbench-client-1.95b-1.2.5-r1.zip
mod_chargingbench-server-1.95b-mcpc1.2.5-r1.zip (Bukkit port, see thread at MC Port Central)
I had some trouble decompiling IC2, so the client was ported from the obfuscated 1.90-1 version, and the server is only for CraftBukkit (didn't make a vanilla server version, sorry about that). Let me know how it works
edit: this version is working well for many people - but please report any problems.
