yeah, nevada's pretty awful. Another thing is, depending on the political party currently holding the majority of the state legislature, there are some major differences between health laws in different states. I know that smoking indoors has been illegal for years in MN, and quite a few other traditionally democratic states have similar laws.

Does anyone know of a reason for the normal template that Microsoft Word 2007 uses when it opens to not load (aka, why word doesn't put in headers and footers automatically) and how do I restore it back to normal?... if that made any sense...
WTF did you do anyway? also, why don't you have a newer version of word, my last copy of '07 was on a pentium II machiene that lived in the basement for use as a secure box for finance as it didn't have internet connectivity

I'm kinda resisting the need to learn Python due to my ArcGIS stuff. But if I do hopefully land a job with a surveying group, I know I'm going to have to learn it anyway, lol...
Are you planning on working for the USGS then? I had an uncle who worked as a surveyor for the majority of his career, I always thought that it was crazy how he would update the markers and such even in the most desolate places

the original source is in my old thread, and I recommend rewriting the mod from the ground up due to changes in forge after 4 major MC version changes, although you might be able to look at the old code for ideas on the implementation for many objects

im sorry but what do you need 555 timers for?
Ever heard of "PWM sound synthesis"?
Basically, messing around with chained timers at various frequencies, eg a 30 Hz timer controlling the pulse width of a 400 Hz tone generator. Or, if you prefer FM synthesis, you can chain the triangle wave at the cap of the 30 Hz timer to the threshold pin of the 400 Hz tone generator. I would have uploaded a sound test, but I overvolted the cheap speaker I was using (the pathetic 8Ω .25W thing couldn't take a 50% duty cycle 6V square wave)

Edit: wait is it tick rate or fps lag this would create? (my laptop gets HORRIBLE fps but near perfect tick rate)
From what I saw, tick lag. My fps seemed fine, but even with a hex-core cpu & threading the game didn't respond immediately to block breaking/placing events, which implied that there was latency between the internal client and server
