well, you need to de-obfuscate IC2 and place it in your mods folder. The Deobfuscation can be done with immibs' tool, Bearded-Octo-Nemesis, or an other minecraft de-obfuscater

I dunno, that seems like a pretty powerful clause to add, there might be some repercussions...
Additionally, the idea of creating a semi-public source hub, permitting 'trusted' (aka invited) persons to submit code changes (which then need approval) sounds reasonable to me
Trying that with my failed attempt at updating Rocket Science, I have the wonderful tendency to go "OH, shiny object!" whenever something I find interesting, which eventually fades to "meh. I'll fix that later" as I do stuff with it.

Could be because IC2 is made in germany.Im thinking that if you cant always develop the mod and have little free time,why not get a few other modders to help.Even if it's really easy like ore generation,you can use the modders to allow you to work on the new stuff while they work on easier stuff and bugfixes.

- superheating ores with the mining laser bugs out the ore block
- CF backpack being crafted 50% full
- Mining laser can be burned as fuel
- lots of stuff that vanilla MC broke

Biggest issue with a lighting engine rework is that it would cause significantly larger amounts of lag, especially with redstone circutry which already causes nasty light update lag, which can in some cases cause crashing of the game.

Thanks Greg, but I don't think that that is the problem because most of the items are fine, the problem is the custom rendering stuff.
PS: I'm re-writing the render code and some other stuff for 1.3.2 already and that problem Will be fixed in the next version
