I just had the idea for a new high tech equipment with a awesome use
I would like to see a "Sensor" that can be placed on the block above a door and uses "technology" to detect if the person is human or not (just like the railcraft detector blocks but way smaller).
On this way the doors could automatically open if a player is near and keep the zombies out.
A big + would be a configurable gui with some settings like "Owner only" etc.
Edit: It should consume energy (supplied with simple batteries or maybe energy crystals).
Any chance you could add this to your awesome high tech addon?

Just went to the desert mining with my enchanted diamond pickaxe with luck 3 and after 30 minutes i found 31 diamonds (4 veins) and 97 rubys (up to 7 rubys per vein with my luck 3 pickaxe) O_o
Edit: Same goes for Sapphire (up to 7 sapphire per ore block). Way too much output from one Sapphire Ore block with my luck 3 pickaxe.
The output when using a pickaxe with luck +3 should max 2 or remove the extra output completely.

What about eletrical driven chunkloaders? Right now there are only the chunkloading blocks from railcraft, which load an area of 3*3 chunks.
I dream about electrical chunkloaders, that can be upgraded to load a larger area and they need EU to function. Larger area = more EU consuming.
While working out dungeon loot, I had an idea - how about we add the other records to the dungeon loot list like Greg's addon already does?

Did solar get broken? I updated to 1.107.35 and they will not craft.
Are you using GregTechs-Addon Mod? He changed the recipe for the solars but you can change it within the config file.
Otherwise, no the recipe has not changed, i can craft solars without any problems with 1.107.35.lf
Edit: Is IC² using the ore dictionary properly? Because i noticed that the wood from extrabiomesxl, which is registered via ore dictionary, cannot be used for IC² recipes.
Just noticed that the harvesting speed of soulsand in the nether with the diamond drill is fixed! Awesome!
And the bug that prevented emptied tools from recharging from fresh batpack / lappack is also fixed

ways to fix:
have a jenkins, a recommanded build and a dev build. a lot of mods do that these days and it means we can use whats stable or the latest bug fixes, aware that the latest versions are not supported by support. that fixes 1(if we want the bug fixed versions there they are, 2(no need to ask for updates as we could see the new versions appearing etc) and 3(no more ninja updates)
use something like mantis to report bugs in developer versions and bingo you have a few more beta testers

Just found enough diamonds to craft the HV Charging Bench.
And all my stuff were empty so it was a great opportunity to test the charging bench
Works like a charm.
Forge used on my dedicated server is 4.1.4.297 (latest at the time of this posting!)
This mod is not only a updated version of the old charging bench, it is much more awesome with the output slots etc.
I love the output slot thing, just shift clicking on the charged items.
