No. You have steam reactors enabled.
yep steam reactors disable electrical cable hookup to reactors.
Unless you got a small reactor set up steam reactors are very inefficient for larger set ups.

Hmm that's probably why, strangely I'm using cells from IC2 unless Greg messed around with them when adding Plutonium and Thorium cells. Also I'm playing in SSP.
But I'm glad to hear you were able to narrow it down hope it gets fixed soon, either way I'm glad I was able to raise the red flag and bring it to your attention.
As of further examination, the rotary macerator seems to have its battery slot behave as a ore input slot, and won't accept electricity from batteries
I noticed this as well, and to further conflict it if you use hoppers from buildcraft it deposits ores into that slot, so it appears as you said that the battery slot is being read as a ore input slot. Due to that I've had to put dirt into that slot when using hoppers.
That's what I've been doing, lazurite dust, you save 1 lapis by using the lazurite dust into compressed form, 8 lazurite dust into 1 chunk as opposed to 9 lapis in a block. I'm all about efficeny of how I use my resources major OCD on that, gotta make most use out of a resource.
Hey Shedar noticed this little bug, the countdown timer for the reactor isn't working apparently.
No idea what went wrong here, I'll try restarting my client to see if it fixes it. Breaking the panel and placing it again doesn't fix it, removing cells and putting them back doesn't fix it. Restarting client doesn't fix it, so it appears something is broken. Hope to see this fixed asap cause I'd like to know when my cells run out on my reactor
LOL my entire supply of platinum ores disappear after mining because of stuff. Heck use a little redstone to make mercury cells and throw them into a industrial crusher and put those ores in gives me 3 dusts instead of 2 turned 5 stacks of platinum ore into 15 stacks platinum dust. That's a lot of iridium which most of went into making the reactor room I made in my house. Entire lapis supply disappeared cause I've been making blocks for the LESU and I think most of the lapis I get will be going into making a set up for the 1 billion storage, that's a lot of lapis... lol
you can get chrome from redstone if i'm not wrong, but it takes enormous amounts of redstone.
Your a bit wrong, you get ruby dust from redstone but again as you said you need enormous amounts of redstone in order to make a difference.
Granted once you get a quarry or two running getting redstone is easy though sure not as effective as silktouch mining... (gee makes me want a quarry that had a silk touch upgrade)
same goes for all other materials you need.
yeah... chrome has 2 sources... Ruby dust and Uvarovite dust. Both the gems they come from are rather rare to mine for. Not so much as Iridium but still quite rare.
Hmm CrafterofMany you do realize that nano armor and quantum armor are composite type armors? 1 of them is made out of carbon fiber the other is made out of the other armor + some other materials. Granted some of the material (iridium) is electrically conductive but this is completely negated me thinks due to the lapotron crystal sucking up that energy being feed into the armor around it from the environment. It would need an extreme charge of energy in order to hurt the person inside the armor... like say getting struck by lightning or some other source.
since there isn't a use for magnesium dust the wikipedia entry for it seems to have lots of uses for magnesium
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnesium
one of which I noticed is alloying it with aluminum to make a stronger light weight metal
Hmm... another good use of aluminum would be an alternative for wires maybe? would be a good replacement for copper if one ran low on the stuff.
I'm quite sure that glass fibre cannot handle >512EU per packet.
Correct they can only handle 512 eu/t. If you want to move 2048 eu/t which is Extreme volt you need a HV cable or superconductive cable. Most people would use maybe 1 or 2 HV cables which hook a reactor up to HV-transformer which converts the 2048 eu into 512.
Looks like Forestry 1.6.2.0 has an outdated IC2 API in it. Or it might be something else in that small mod set. Either way, this should help.
could also get the new 1.6.2.3 version of forestry
Mercury cells + platinum ore = lots of platinum dust to centrifuge to get moar iridium ore
i placed a slow engine, and the game crashed on me.
due to the size of the crash report, i cannot post in thread, but have a pastebin of it.
Crash Report
have you tried the other engines as well? if it crashes with those also you need to look in the OP in the spoiler for common errors for the solution.
All these bug reports I got another thing to add to that list then.
See I have things set up where my Rotary Macerators are near my Induction Furnaces, the weird thing that is happening is that the Macerator on the very end and the Induction Furnace opposite of it with that space in between them should keep them separate. Every so often I put an item in there to macerate into dust what happens is that the macerator and the furnace get taken out by the macerator exploding as if it's getting more than 32 eu/t which is impossible seeing how the cable line both are attached to has the eu being downgraded into 32 eu/t from a lv-transformer. It's a rather annoying bug because it not only destroys 2 blocks but also destroys the item/stack of items in the macerator or the furnace.
including image of how I got it set up
Greg noticed something that's missing, you got Iridium reinforced stone but you lack a Iridium reinforced door
hur hur hur... another dumb question time
Nak cells cooling cells, what is the difference between these and Helium cooling cells?
Riiight found a bug... unable to craft plant balls with vanilla tree saplings. The recipes for plant balls to craft from them also isn't in the plant ball recipes in NEI so something is bugged there me thinks.
Edit: further info... leaves from vanilla trees also don't work.
Liquid Transposer maybe?
